WWE Raw: Potential Spoilers, Rumors, News and Preview for August 10
A TV superhero joins a roster in flux on the Aug. 10 edition of WWE Raw.
WWE is set to welcome Arrow star Stephen Amell but could be without some major talent as SummerSlam nears. A beast is likely to remain in his lair; a megastar is not advertised for the show. In addition, a reported head injury may force one Superstar to the bench.
But there is some good news. One report points to an injured powerhouse getting back to action.

Most Likely Backlash Heel/Face Turns 🎭
The marquee pay-per-view now has three bouts on the card. Expect to see some other matchups get added with or without the entirety of the roster available.
WWE heads to the Xfinity Arena in Everett, Washington, with less than two weeks to go before SummerSlam. That means the PPV's hype train needs to start picking up speed.
For a glimpse of how WWE may be accomplishing that and who will be around to be a part of it, we dig up info from backstage reports, official announcements and James Wortman's five-point preview on WWE.com.
The Arrow Arrives
Stardust and Amell from Arrow (likely with Neville firmly in the mix) are nearing a collision. After the two men traded jabs on Twitter for months, their rivalry is coming to WWE's premier show.
WWE issued a press release (h/t PWTorch) announcing that Amell would be headed to Raw in Washington. The release noted, "After several visits to Monday Night Raw, Amell will be appearing as a guest star for the first time."
What's he going to do there? It couldn't be clearer that it will be some sort of showdown with Stardust. The off-kilter heel made Amell's upcoming visit the center of his diatribe on Thursday's SmackDown. Stardust's speech certainly sounded like a warning:
"@amellywood has been warned…DO NOT let @StardustWWE down at #Raw! #SmackDown http://t.co/mAnsCEWktm
— WWE (@WWE) August 7, 2015"
In addition, WWE.com has continued to update a timeline of the social media war these two have been having.
News, Potential Spoilers
One of the trio of women's wrestlers currently involved in the "Divas Revolution" storyline will be going by a different name than they did last week.
After being dubbed "Submission Sorority" on last Monday's Raw, Paige, Charlotte and Becky Lynch had to ditch that name, as it is also apparently a pornography series. TMZ reported, "According to the WWE, it changed Paige, Charlotte and Becky's Submission Sorority because its TV programming is PG—and they didn't know the name had porn ties."
Paige's crew will now be known as "PCB." WWE has already taken to calling the trio by the new moniker, as seen on Twitter:
Lynch may be representing Ireland alone in Washington. Sheamus, who missed the recent Australian tour, may be pulled from Monday's Raw as well.
F4WOnline reported, "Sheamus was off the weekend house shows due to either a diagnosed or fear of a concussion." Dave Scherer of PWInsider.com noted (citing David Hopp, a fan from the Northwest) WWE has reportedly changed the dark main event, pulling Sheamus out of the match and inserting Big Show instead.
And despite his reappearance at a house show, don't count on Dolph Ziggler heading to Raw either.
As noted in a fan report on PWInsider.com, Ziggler sat at ringside during Sunday's house show in Vancouver and eventually got involved in the action when he pounced on Rusev. A fan captured some footage before the event in which one can see Ziggler milling around the arena:

The Showoff, though, is still filming a movie. PWInsider.com's Mike Johnson wrote that the former world champ was filming in Vancouver, so he popped in for the event. He reported that "Ziggler is slated to return to WWE TV next week after working the next round of live events."
Ryback may show up as well after dealing with a nasty staph infection. According to Johnson of PWInsider.com, "Ryback is in Washington and is slated for tonight's episode of Raw."
On the other hand, Brock Lesnar and John Cena may not be around. Johnson reported for PWInsider.com, "Brock Lesnar is not slated to appear this week." And as noted by James Caldwell of Pro Wrestling Torch, "The advertised talent roster does not include U.S. champion John Cena."
The Superstars who are on the bill include Seth Rollins, Roman Reigns, Dean Ambrose, Kevin Owens and Sheamus despite his reported injury.
En Route to SummerSlam
A clue that Ryback may be on his way back is that WWE is promoting a title match between him and both Big Show and The Miz. If there were doubts about his health, WWE likely wouldn't have made the Intercontinental Championship official yet.
And the five-point Raw preview seems to point toward The Big Guy getting into an altercation on his first night back. Wortman asked, "How will Big Show and the so-called 'A-lister' try to take the Intercontinental Champion off his game before their three-Superstar melee in Brooklyn?"
Monday's Raw is also sure to feature plenty more of the tension between Summer Rae and Lana.
Last Thursday's SmackDown ended with Lana taking Summer to the ground and engaging in yet another fight. Will Rusev's new girl respond with violence of her own?
Wortman hinted at just that when he wrote, "Summer has likely been stewing over this attack, and no doubt has something sinister planned for her nemesis on Raw."
As of last week's SmackDown, Roman Reigns and Dean Ambrose vs. Bray Wyatt and Luke Harper is on for SummerSlam. The build for that hasn't been a major priority as of late. One would expect WWE to crank things up with these rivals on Monday and beyond.
In his five-point preview, Wortman pointed in that direction. He asked, "Will the warring 'families' be able to wait until Aug. 23 to do battle?"
The safe bet is that they won't. On a show with no Lesnar, likely no Sheamus and possibly without Cena, there will be plenty of airtime available to dedicate to Wyatt and Harper going on the attack against two-thirds of what used to be The Shield.
What of Seth Rollins? He called out Cena last week, relishing in the fact that he broke his foe's nose and demanding a title-versus-title match at SummerSlam.
It's too late in the game to go in another direction with either Rollins or Cena, so that's likely the bout to expect. But will it get officially added on Monday night, or will there be a delay in the narrative?
Wortman titled one of the slides of his Raw preview, "Will John Cena accept Seth Rollins' challenge?"
The WWE champ and the company's golden boy aren't going to stay off the SummerSlam card for long. How WWE goes about adding them to the event will be one of the bigger stories to watch.
