Cowboys' Stadium Uses Tinted Windows for FIFA World Cup in Photos After Sun Issues in NFL Games
FIFA is doing its best to curb the blinding sunlight that shines through the windows at AT&T Stadium in the late afternoon.
Ahead of Sunday's World Cup match between Japan and the Netherlands in Dallas, AT&T Stadium put a tint over the doors on each side of the stadium to prevent glare and sunlight from coming in.
It was previously reported that the windows at the home of the Cowboys would have curtains over them during World Cup matches, something team owner Jerry Jones has indicated he has no plans to do during the NFL season.
While curtains might be on the way eventually during the World Cup, it seems tinting the doors has had a positive effect thus far.
NFL players haveย consistently voiced their opinion about the blinding light that comes through the windows, and it has, on several occasions, played a role for both the home and away teams.
If tinting or curtaining the windows proves to help during the World Cup, perhaps Jones will consider making the change for the Cowboys' games.
