US Women's Open Golf 2026 Final Leaderboard Scores, Prize Money Payouts and More
Nelly Korda did just enough.
The star golfer shot a 2-under 69 to win the 81st U.S. Women's Open on Sunday, finishing eight strokes under par for the tournament. That was just enough to edge out Charley Hull and Gaby Lopez, who each finished seven under.
It's Korda's first career win at the U.S. Women's Open, her fourth major title and her second major this season.
Last year's winner, Maja Stark, finished two under for the tournament in a tie for eighth place.
Korda took the lead for good at No. 17 after Hull and Lopez had strong rounds to take the clubhouse lead ahead of her:
It was a very good day for Korda's bank account. Her victory earned her a $2.5 million payout from a record $12.5 million total purse. Hull and Lopez took home $1 million each, making it a pretty good weekend at the office for both.
Up next on the majors schedule will be the Women's PGA Championship between June 25-28 at the Hazeltine National Golf Club in Chaska, MN. Korda last won the event in 2021 and will be attempting to make it three majors out of three.
