Most Likely Heel and Face Turns at WWE Clash in Italy 2026
For the first time in its history, WWE will bring a premium live event to Italy.
Roman Reigns vs. Jacob Fatu, Cody Rhodes vs. Gunther, and Rhea Ripley vs. Jade Cargill will highlight a night with major world title implications.
While those matches will be great, the long-term focus of WWE is even more important as the company begins building to SummerSlam.
These shows need big moments, including the heel and face turns that could come out of Clash in Italy at the Inalpi Arena in Turin on Sunday.
Heel: The Bloodline (Under Roman Reigns or Jacob Fatu's Leadership)
1 of 4
In the battle of Jacob Fatu vs. Roman Reigns in Tribal Combat, only one can turn at the end of this rivalry, and it is the one who wins.
If The Samoan Werewolf succeeds in taking The Tribal Chief's world heavyweight title, he could quickly and emphatically turn into a tyrant.
This could allow The Usos and Reigns to reaffirm their face status by defying Fatu due to his reckless behavior.
On the other hand, Reigns might just find himself too powerful with his opponent under his control.
The Tribal Chief's ego drove him down a dark path before, and that was with Solo Sikoa as his enforcer. Fatu has shown himself to be an even more dangerous threat.
Both paths are interesting, and it is hard to imagine The Bloodline will manage to remain face after this battle for the World Heavyweight Championship.
Heel: Alexa Bliss or Charlotte Flair
2 of 4While Rhea Ripley's current challenger is Jade Cargill, all signs point to Alexa Bliss and Charlotte Flair as the real threat to The Eradicator's title reign.
Those three women have played nice so far, but something will have to give with the WWE Women's Championship on the line.
In particular, it seems likely Bliss or Flair will turn against one another as well as the champion on the road to a massive title challenge.
Could that turn happen at Clash in Italy? There is a chance, though it would likely only happen in the aftermath of the title defense against Ripley.
WWE may want to wait a bit longer before turning The Allies of Convenience against one another.
Face: Brock Lesnar
3 of 4
Despite Brock Lesnar's surprise return to WWE to face Oba Femi a second time, The Beast Incarnate is still approaching the end of his career.
Fans were ready to support his retirement at WrestleMania 42, but WWE is trying to get as much as possible out of the final months of Lesnar.
For the sake of keeping Femi's momentum, Lesnar should lose again.
From there, Paul Heyman could turn against his client one last time, setting the stage for a final run to retirement for The Beast Incarnate.
It will likely all end with Gunther at SummerSlam, and Lesnar would make sense to be the face in that story.
Face: Becky Lynch
4 of 4Throughout her career, Becky Lynch has thrived most as a babyface, even though she often likes to play the heel.
Her latest run as The Man has helped elevate rising stars such as Lyra Valkyria and Maxxine Dupri, and it might end with a loss to Sol Ruca.
If Lynch does lose the Women's Intercontinental Championship on Sunday, she might finally begin to see the error of her ways following her latest embarrassing defeat.
The Man has regularly belittled Ruca on the road to this moment and would not handle it well if she lost.
In the past, a loss for Lynch has caused her to spiral, but she always recovered.
This time, she may not get her gold back and might be forced to turn face due to the humbling failure.
