Final Predictions for WWE SNME and AEW Double or Nothing 2026 Match Cards

Chris MuellerMay 22, 2026

This weekend will be a busy time for wrestling fans, with All Elite Wrestling and WWE both holding major events.

WWE is up first with Saturday Night's Main Event, followed by AEW Double or Nothing on Sunday.

While SNME used to be considered a TV special, the lines have become blurred in recent years, making every non-weekly show fall into the category of premium live events.

Double or Nothing is one of the original pay-per-views for AEW and is considered one of the bigger shows of the year, so Tony Khan has put together a strong card for the event.

Let's take a look at each match on both cards and offer up some predictions.

Match Cards

  • The Vision vs. The Street Profits (Men's Tag Team Championships)
  • Brie Bella and Paige vs. Irresistible Forces (Women's Tag Team Championships)

  • Jon Moxley vs. Kyle O'Reilly (Continental Championship)
  • Kazuchika Okada vs. Konosuke Takeshita (International Championship)
  • Chris Jericho, The Young Bucks, Kenny Omega, Jack Perry, Bobby Lashley and Shelton Benjamin vs. Ricochet, Bishop Kaun, Toa Liona, Mark Davis, Andrade El Idolo, David Finlay and Clark Connors (Stadium Stampede)
  • Becky Lynch vs. Sol Ruca

    2 of 13
    Monday Night RAW

Ruca has gotten off to a bit of a slow start on the main roster, but it feels like it has been by design.

Her run in NXT saw her win multiple titles and have great success, so a lot of fans were very familiar with her before she made her way up to Raw.

Having her lose her first Raw match to Iyo Sky made her a target of mockery for Lynch, which is going to make Sol's win even sweeter on Saturday.

WWE clearly sees Ruca as a future main event star, and having her win her first title from one of its top stars in her first attempt is going to catapult her up the ladder.

Prediction: Ruca wins the IC title

    Penta vs. Ethan Page

    3 of 13
    Monday Night RAW

Penta's run as the men's IC champion has featured some solid matches, but he hasn't had much of a storyline to sink his teeth into.

Page feels like the perfect foil for him after such a successful run in NXT, so it wouldn't be surprising to see this feud last beyond Saturday.

If the plan is to keep them as rivals for a bit, then the best way to end this match would be for Penta to retain, giving All Ego motivation to come back stronger in their next encounter.

Page will eventually win the belt from him, possibly at Clash in Italy at the end of the month, or Night of Champions on June 27.

Prediction: Penta retains the IC title

Rhea Ripley, Alexa Bliss and Charlotte Flair vs. Jade Cargill, B-Fab and Michin

    4 of 13
    SmackDown

A six-woman tag match is not a common occurrence at major WWE events, but it's an effective way to feature a lot of people all at once.

Ripley, Bliss and Flair could be considered a super team compared to their opponents. Just look at their lists of accomplishments:

  • Bliss is a five-time world champion, four-time tag team champion, one-time 24/7 champion, and one-time Money in the Bank winner.
  • Flair is a 14-time world champion, two-time NXT champion, two-time tag team champion, and the only two-time women's Royal Rumble winner.
  • Ripley is a four-time world champion, two-time tag team champion, won both the NXT and NXT UK women's titles, and won a Royal Rumble
  • These are three of the most decorated women on the roster, so having them lose to a one-time champion and two other competitors who have never won gold in WWE feels like a stretch.

Ripley, Bliss and Flair will get the win, but it wouldn't be surprising to see Cargill's crew take them out after the match.

Prediction: Bliss, Flair and Ripley win

The Vision vs. The Street Profits

    5 of 13
    Monday Night RAW

The men's tag title match might be the hardest to predict on the entire card because there is an argument to be made for either team to win.

The Vision hasn't held the belts very long, having only won them on March 30, so having them lose this quickly would stall the group's momentum.

On the other hand, Montez Ford and Angelo Dawkins just returned after being on the bench for a few months, so if WWE wants to give them a big push to re-establish them as a top team, winning the belts would do it.

However, Dawkins and Ford have had some friction in recent weeks, leading to some fans speculating about a potential breakup.

After spending the last nine years as a duo, letting both men see how they fare as singles stars might be for the best.

For all of the reasons we just mentioned, The Vision seems like the safer pick, but it won't be shocking if the Profits leave with the titles on Saturday.

Prediction: The Vision retains the tag titles

Paige and Brie Bella vs. Lash Legend and Nia Jax

    6 of 13
    Monday Night RAW

The women's tag titles are set to be defended when Brie Bella and Paige take on Lash Legend and Nia Jax.

We would usually pick the champions to retain this early into their reign, but there is a specific reason why WWE might want to put the belts back on Jax and Legend.

Nikki Bella being injured leading into WrestleMania 42 forced the company to change plans, but if she is ready to come back, management might want her and Brie to finally have their reign as the first sister tag champs.

Having Jax and Legend regain the titles so they can drop them back to the Bellas this summer feels exactly like the kind of thing WWE would do just so it can tout having twins as tag team champions.

Prediction: Jax and Legend win the women's tag team titles

    Owen Hart Tournament

    7 of 13

Three matches from the Owen Hart Tournament are set for Double or Nothing, and two of them feel easy to predict.

Willow Nightingale revealed she is injured on Dynamite and unable to compete, so her match was switched with Athena and Shirakawa's bout. With the roll she has been on, Athena feels destined to win this.

Strickland is back after a short hiatus, so AEW is going to want him to hit the ground running with a win over Bandido.

Ospreay vs. Joe feels the hardest to predict, but we're giving the slight edge to Ospreay because it works better for his current storyline.

Predictions: Athena, Strickland and Ospreay win

    FTR vs. Cage and Copeland

    8 of 13

The feud between FTR and the duo of Cage and Copeland has picked back up, but this time, the result is going to be different.

In their previous encounter, Dax Harwood and Cash Wheeler were successful over their former friends.

With the I Quit stipulation being added this time, it feels like AEW is preparing to crown new champions.

If this is the final run Cage and Copeland have as a tag team, beating FTR for the belts is a great way to start it.

Prediction: Cage and Copeland win the titles

    Stadium Stampede

    9 of 13

We will see 14 men compete in Stadium Stampede this year, making it one of the bigger matches in AEW history outside of a Battle Royal.

Jericho and Ricochet are positioned as the team captains, but there is a lot of star power across both sides.

This is going to be pure chaos from start to finish, but the outcome feels obvious. Jericho's team is going to come away with the win, likely with Jericho himself being the one to end it by beating Ricochet.

    Prediction: Jericho's team wins

    Kazuchika Okada vs. Konosuke Takeshita

    10 of 13

After months and months, and more months, of buildup, it looks like the Okada vs. Takeshita feud will finally have a payoff.

The International Championship is on the line, unlike their previous encounter, so there is more at stake for The Rainmaker.

Okada used a dirty trick to win their last match, so it's time for Takeshita to get even by taking his most precious possession.

How this affects the Don Callis Family after the PPV is also going to be interesting, but the main attraction here is watching two of the best AEW has to offer beating the life out of each other.

    Prediction: Takeshita wins

    Jon Moxley vs. Kyle O'Reilly

    11 of 13

O'Reilly pushed Moxley to a time limit draw on Dynamite, so they agreed to meet for a rematch this Sunday with no time limit and the title on the line.

Prior to being injured, KOR was building a lot of momentum with two submission victories over the continental champion.

While it would be incredibly satisfying to see him win his first singles title this weekend, it feels like Moxley is going to get the win and retain.

O'Reilly is already one of the trios champions, so he has enough on his plate right now, but down the line, it would be great to see him dethrone Mox for the belt.

    Prediction: Moxley wins

Thekla vs. Jamie Hayter vs. Kris Statlander vs. Hikaru Shida

    12 of 13

Thekla will face her biggest challenge as world champion when she faces three of the most successful women in AEW.

All three women are former world champions, making this one of the most star-studded women's matches in quite some time.

While any of the challengers would be reasonable picks to win, it feels far too early for The Toxic Spider to drop the title.

She has been gaining momentum since winning the belt, and she is going to keep the train going on Sunday when she beats three competitors at once.

    Prediction: Thekla retains

    MJF vs. Darby Allin

    13 of 13

Not only will Allin's world title be up for grabs this weekend, but in order to secure the match, MJF had to put his hair on the line.

For someone as obsessed with image as MJF's character is, sacrificing the hair he paid so much money to maintain is a big deal.

Allin's short title reign has already seen him defend the title in several entertaining matches against a variety of opponents. In many ways, he is the fightingest champion in AEW history.

Sadly, it feels like his reign was designed to be short. He can't keep up this pace, especially with the kinds of risks he takes. As fun as it would be to see a bald MJF, it feels like we are more likely to see him walk away with the Triple B this weekend.

    Prediction: MJF wins the title
