Jon Rahm Updates LIV Golf Contract Status After Settling DP World Tour Dispute
Despite LIV Golf's uncertain future, Jon Rahm feels his fate has already been determined.
While speaking to reporters on Tuesday at LIV Golf Virginia, Rahm explained that he's still under contract with LIV Golf despite the league losing its financial backing from Saudi Arabia's Public Investment Fund at the end of the season.
"As of right now I have several years on my contract left, and I'm pretty sure they did a pretty good job when they drafted that, so I don't see many ways out," Rahm said, per Ben Nuckols of the Associated Press.

Nuckols noted that Saudi Arabia's Public Investment Fund "spent $5 billion on LIV Golf over five years without achieving profitability," leading to the decision to pull its funding.
While the PGA Tour continues to refuse to allow LIV players to compete, Rahm secured an alternative. He settled a financial dispute with the DP World Tour to secure his participation in European tour events and next year's Ryder Cup.
"There is no longer a standoff. We were able to reach an agreement. There were some concessions on both sides, and I offered some, they extended an olive branch," Rahm said. "So that will not be a stress anymore."
