WWE WrestleMania 42 Matches Fans Will Be Rewatching for Years After Reviewing Results
The greatness of any WWE WrestleMania match can be measured in its rewatchability. Do fans go back to it, either to show someone else why they love the industry in the first place or, perhaps, to relive the raw emotion of the contest and go on that roller-coaster ride once again?
This year's WrestleMania turned out three matches that fans will be rewatching forever, two for the right reasons and the third...not so much.
Find out which matches they are, as well as results from the entire two-night extravaganza, in this recap.

Cody Rhodes vs. Randy Orton
2 of 4
A match watched for all the wrong reasons, Cody Rhodes vs. Randy Orton from WrestleMania Saturday is one that fans will attempt to decipher, pick apart, and understand for years to come.
Why was Orton booked in the heat spot, fighting from underneath against Rhodes when he was the heel? Why was Pat McAfee shoehorned into this match, where he contributed to nothing except the frustration levels of the WWE fans?
Why was Orton presented as a babyface, then a heel, then a babyface, before punting Rhodes' head and standing tall to close out the show?
Your guess is as good as anyone's, even more so when McAfee runs in late and eats an RKO for his troubles, ending a partnership with The Viper that took weeks to establish.
The mangled mess of a match, through no fault of either competitor in it, is one of the most baffling contests in WWE history and a lackluster conclusion to night one of WrestleMania action.
Oba Femi vs. Brock Lesnar
3 of 4
The most anticipated match on this year's card kicked off Sunday's action and left fans jaw-dropped.
Not only did WWE go ahead and book Femi over Lesnar, but they did so in a way that highlighted his power and presence. The Ruler barely sold Lesnar's F-5 and proceeded to drop him with a pop-up powerbomb to win the match.
If the former NXT champion's performance was not enough, the sudden and unexpected retirement of Lesnar from the squared circle elevates the match, the moment, and the historical significance of both exponentially.
CM Punk vs. Roman Reigns
4 of 4
The best match of this year's show, a bona fide instant classic, and one of the best main events in the history of the event, this should be added to your yearly watchlist.
Punk and Reigns tore the house down inside Allegiant Stadium, crafting a match that told the story of an older, grizzled wrestler taking on the top dog in today's business and throwing everything he had at The OTC, only for it not to be enough.
Then, when he realized as much, he defiantly kept swinging, only for Reigns to finally shut him down with a pair of spears.
It was an extraordinary match, with superb performances by the Superstars involved. More importantly, there were no shenanigans. There were no run-ins or interference and no overbooked nonsense. Instead, Punk and Reigns proved why they are the top stars on the most visible brand in professional wrestling, delivering a five-star classic to close out the 2026 show.
