Will Sunday's WWE WrestleMania 2026 Matches Be Able to Top Saturday's Card?
WWE kicked off WrestleMania 42 Saturday night in Las Vegas with a broadcast that was...polarizing, to say the least.
The less-than-enthusiastic reception to the company's first night of action, which was capped off with Cody Rhodes retaining his title against Randy Orton, has left fans wondering if its sequel can surpass it.
Find out the answer to that question and more with this preview of the premium live event.

The announced match card for WrestleMania Sunday is:
Can Sunday Top Saturday?
2 of 2
The answer is simple: it has to.
A bizarre show featuring short matches, head-scratching creative, and storylines that did not hit, Saturday's show felt more like a fever dream than the most important show of the year.
Luckily, WWE is rolling out the heavy hitters Sunday night, with CM Punk and Roman Reigns closing the show, Rhea Ripley challenging Jade Cargill for the WWE Women's Championship, the breakout star of the year, Trick Williams, and a Ladder Match with the potential to steal the entire show.
The Punk-Reigns match, in particular, will be of the utmost importance because it is the exclamation point on the entire two-night show. If the contest fails to stick the landing, the criticisms will become louder and more impassioned.
Luckily, it is a match born of good, old-fashioned hatred that should take on a more coherent tone than whatever the company was attempting with the Cody Rhodes-Randy Orton match at the end of Saturday's broadcast.
That alone will elevate it past the first night of action.
