Saturday Match Card and Predictions
2 of 3
The Usos and LA Knight vs. The Vision and IShowSpeed
After months of battling on Monday nights, The Usos, LA Knight, and The Vision conclude their rivalry in a six-man tag team match in which YouTuber IShowSpeed and his ability (or lack thereof) to wrestle will be the story. The babyfaces win here to kick off the show on the right foot, with Speed eating the pin.
Prediction: Usos and Knight
Fatal 4-Way Match for the Women's Tag Team Championship: Bayley and Lyra Valkyria vs. Charlotte Flair and Alexa Bliss vs. The Bella Twins vs. Nia Jax and Lash Legend
The mostly unknown status of Nikki Bella ahead of Saturday's title match makes this one tougher to predict. While it would be nice to see Bayley and Valkyria win the titles that they should have won last year, this feels like an opportunity to give Jax and Legend a high-profile to solidify their title reign.
Prediction: Jax and Legend retain
Unsanctioned Match: Jacob Fatu vs. Drew McIntyre
This has the potential to be a show-stealing, highly physical and intense match-up featuring two Superstars who, at one point, looked like they might compete in the main event. McIntyre is a multi-time WWE champion, while Fatu is still looking to establish himself as a main event star, something the company will need moving forward. The Samoan Werewolf wins this grueling battle.
Prediction: Fatu
Women's Intercontinental Championship Match: AJ Lee vs. Becky Lynch
Lee has frustrated Lynch since returning in September, netting three straight victories over The Man. Add to that the fact that it has been a long time since Big Time Becks last won a high-profile singles match at WrestleMania, with her last coming in 2020 against Shayna Baszler. That trend ends here as Lynch wins and regains her title.
Prediction: Lynch wins the title
Seth Rollins vs. Gunther
On one hand, Rollins is fresh off an injury, and a victory would set him up nicely for the Bron Breakker feud that is expected at some point after WrestleMania. On the other hand, Gunther needs the win to rebuild some of the momentum he had after retiring John Cena and AJ Styles. With a big match involving a Paul Heyman client already teased, The Ring General wins this one.
Prediction: Gunther
Women's World Championship Match: Stephanie Vaquer vs. Liv Morgan
Vaquer enters her first WrestleMania as world champion, defending against the 2026 Royal Rumble winner. La Primera feels like a champion unrealized to this point, but Morgan is on the hottest run of her career and feels poised to make the most of her first singles match on the grand stage. Plus, Vaquer will thrive as the babyface chasing the gold.
Prediction: Morgan wins the title
Undisputed WWE Championship Match: Cody Rhodes vs. Randy Orton
By now, most know that the rivalry involving Rhodes and Orton should have been an easy lay-up, a story 20 years in the making. Instead, it was overthought, overbooked, and injected with Pat McAfee to the point that fans are expecting the unexpected. They should not expect an unexpected outcome, though, with Orton winning the title to propel the story forward. Any other finish makes no sense within the context of this program.
Prediction: Orton wins the title
Sunday Match Card and Predictions
3 of 3
Oba Femi vs. Brock Lesnar
In a perfect world, Femi would roll into WrestleMania, squash Lesnar and really establish himself as the future of WWE. That is still an option, as his booking on this road to the event is reminiscent of Drew McIntyre's ahead of his match with The Beast in 2020. We have also seen Lesnar sell heavily for Samoa Joe, only to beat him when the bell rang. As much as the alternative is preferred, something about the build feels like it sets up a Lesnar win.
Prediction: Lesnar
Intercontinental Championship Ladder Match: Penta vs. Rey Mysterio vs. Dragon Lee vs. Je'Von Evans vs. JD McDonagh vs. Rusev
There is a wildly talented field of competitors in this ladder match for the IC title. With that said, no one outside of Mysterio has been built up or presented like a legitimate threat to dethrone Penta, and even then, the 2023 Hall of Famer does not need another run with that title at this point in his career.
Prediction: Penta retains
United States Championship Match: Sami Zayn vs. Trick Williams
This is an interesting match in that it is, arguably, the best built undercard match on Sunday's show and could go either way as WWE continues to explore a potential double turn. With that said, Williams is red-hot, and the company should capitalize as soon as possible so he does not lose an ounce of popularity or momentum.
Prediction: Williams wins the title
"Demon" Finn Balor vs. Dominik Mysterio
This should be considered the surest thing on either night of this year's show. Triple H and this creative team will not make the same mistake that was made in 2023, when Balor reintroduced the Demon and lost. He wins here, potentially in a short, decisive fashion.
Prediction: Balor
WWE Women's Championship Match: Rhea Ripley vs. Jade Cargill
Despite several months with the title, Cargill is a champion who is finding her footing in that role. Unfortunately, her reign may not last past Sunday as Ripley regains singles gold for the first time in over year and begins a run as champion on Friday nights.
Prediction: Ripley wins the title
World Heavyweight Championship Match: CM Punk vs. Roman Reigns
Punk is the champion of the people. Reigns is a vengeful challenger, angered and irritated that the healthy company he turned over to a new generation of Superstars dropped the ball. Or so he believes. A rivalry fueled by hatred, this match feels the closest to a personal grudge match with the top prize in the company at stake. While the company could use a champion who will be around, all signs point to Reigns winning this one and regaining the world title.
Prediction: Reigns wins the title
