WWE WrestleMania's Most Impressive Stats from Historic Legacy
For 42 years, WrestleMania has been the biggest, most prominent professional wrestling spectacle in the world; a global phenomenon the likes of which has not and may never exist in the industry again.
Over those four decades, it has accumulated its fair share of stats, enhancing its legacy along the way.
Ahead of the April 18 and 19 return to Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas, these are the most impressive stats in the legacy of the annual extravaganza.
Most WrestleMania Main Events: Roman Reigns
1 of 3
When Roman Reigns enters Allegiant Stadium Sunday for his World Heavyweight Championship Match against CM Punk, it will be his 11th WrestleMania main event.
Beginning with his WWE Championship Match against Brock Lesnar in 2015, The Tribal Chief has been at the forefront of nearly every marquee bout produced by WWE, with matches against the biggest stars:
In those matches, he is 6-4.
The top star in the company during that period, he has been the key to the success of recent WrestleManias, thanks to his ability to draw attention, interest, and fans.
While there have been criticisms of his performances in those matches, including by Punk ahead of this year's blockbuster, his recent main events have ranked among the best of this modern era of the extravaganza.
Most WrestleMania Matches: Undertaker
2 of 3
For nearly three decades, no Superstar was more synonymous with WrestleMania than The Undertaker.
During his Hall of Fame career, The Phenom wrestled 27 matches on the grand stage against the biggest stars in the industry. He amassed a 25-2 record in those matches, with his two losses coming against two of the biggest stars of this generation of Superstars in Brock Lesnar and Roman Reigns.
He has defeated 12 Hall of Famers and battled 18 former world champions in those matches, all while establishing a legacy for himself that is unmatched by any Superstar on the grand stage.
His final bout at the event came in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic, when he defeated AJ Styles in the first and only Boneyard Match before riding off into the sunset.
Most WrestleMania Losses: Triple H
3 of 3
No Superstar has lost more WrestleMania matches than the current Chief Content Officer of WWE, Triple H.
Having competed in 23 matches on the grand stage, he lost 13, two more than Kane at 11.
Perhaps more impressive is that nine of those matches were world title matches, and nine were in the show-closing main event spot.
Three of those matches came against The Undertaker, two against John Cena, and two against Batista.
One of the most decorated competitors in WWE history and one of the biggest stars in the company across multiple eras, he defined a two-decade stretch of the extravaganza as a wrestler and continues to influence it now as the man behind the booking.
