Royce Keys Reacts to Trending Triple H Photo After Epic Debut on WWE SmackDown Before WrestleMania

Royce Keys took to X late Friday night to comment on his photo with WWE head of creative Triple H following his successful SmackDown debut.

Keys made his WWE debut in January as a surprise entrant in the men's Royal Rumble match, but Friday marked his first televised appearance since then, and he made quick work of Berto in a singles victory:

After the match, Keys was part of a photo that featured the signature Triple H point, which typically signifies someone's debut or a major accomplishment such as a championship win:

Keys responded on X by writing, "Aight then," which appears to be his new catchphrase since joining WWE:

Prior to signing with WWE, Keys was part of AEW from 2020 until early 2026, wrestling under the names Will Hobbs and Powerhouse Hobbs.

During his AEW tenure, Keys was a one-time TNT champion and a one-time AEW world trios champion.

Keys is from Palo Alto, California, which is a short drive from Friday's SmackDown host city in San Jose.

For the past several weeks, many fans have wondered when WWE would utilize Keys and why he wasn't being used after Royal Rumble, but holding off until Friday may have been a case of WWE wanting to maximize his crowd reaction in an area where fans are familiar with him.

The timing is unique since WrestleMania 42 is just one week away and Keys doesn't figure to have a presence on the card, but by acclimating the fans to him on Friday, WWE could be lining Keys up for a significant push coming out of WrestleMania season.
