Wisconsin punched its ticket to the title game with a 2-1 win over North Dakota before Denver wrapped up a 4-3 victory over Michigan in double overtime.

Wisconsin def. North Dakota, 2-1
Denver def. Michigan, 4-3

The Badgers opened Thursday's clash on a high note, as they racked up 18 shots through the first 20 minutes of action compared to just four for North Dakota.
Wisconsin got on the board early in the first period with a goal from senior forward Simon Tassy.
The Badgers extended their lead 27 seconds later, as sophomore Ryan Botterill found the back of the net off a slick feed from senior captain Ben Dexheimer.
Wisconsin kept North Dakota scoreless in the second period, killing three power plays for the Fighting Hawks.
While North Dakota finally scored with 52 seconds left in the third period, the Badgers still held on for the win.
Wisconsin goaltender Daniel Hauser finished with 21 saves in the victory.
Denver 4, Michigan 3
Denver took a 1-0 lead early in the first period following a goal from Kyle Chyzowski, but Michigan didn't take long to respond.
Wolverines seniors Josh Eernisse and T.J. Hughes both scored within the final four minutes of the period, giving their team a 2-1 edge heading into the second.
The Pioneers tied the game once again in the second period, as Cale Ashcroft found the back of the net.
Michigan's Jayden Perron scored a go-ahead goal early in the third period, but Denver sent the game to overtime following a goal from Clarke Caswell with just under three minutes left in regulation.
After both teams failed to score in the first overtime period, the Pioneers finally emerged victorious after Kent Anderson scored off a pass from Kristian Epperson.
Denver and Wisconsin will now face off with a national title on the line.
