CM Punk cut one of his signature pipebomb promos during Monday night's episode of Raw, and it featured him taking aim at WWE parent company TKO at one point.

Punk called for TKO to lower its ticket prices for WrestleMania 42 and other WWE events in order to accommodate the fans, which is something that has reportedly been a hot topic of conversation within the company recently.

According to BodySlam.net (h/t Wrestle Features), WWE and TKO are "very aware" that ticket prices have become a talking point among fans on social media.

Also, multiple top WWE Superstars have reportedly been pushing for TKO to lower ticket prices due to the idea that the company's fanbase has been getting priced out.

F4WOnline's Bryan Alvarez (h/t Wrestle Ops) added that WWE is reportedly looking to lower its ticket prices "through the summer."

If that is the case, Punk bringing up ticket prices in the promo may have been WWE's way of acknowledging fan concerns and introducing more affordable tickets in the near future.

PWInsider.com (h/t Subhojeet Mukherjee of Ringside News) added that while WWE "had a plan" for what Punk was supposed to say Monday, he ended up cutting a "different promo," much like his original pipebomb promo back in 2011.

Despite Punk going off script, there was reportedly no "fallout" from the promo, as much of what Punk said reportedly "mirrors backstage frustration among talent over the last several weeks," particularly as it relates to ticket prices.

As of April 1, WrestleTix reported that WWE had distributed 38,381 tickets for Night 1 of WrestleMania 42 and 40,003 for Night 2.

WWE reportedly has a setup that can accommodate just over 44,000 fans each night, meaning there is work to be done over the next couple of weeks in order to achieve a sellout.

Brandon Thurston of Wrestlenomics reported last year that the Las Vegas Stadium Authority disclosed a total, two-day attendance of 118,641 at WrestleMania 41 at Allegiant Stadium.

WWE is nowhere near that number right now for its second consecutive WrestleMania in Las Vegas, and that could be a big part of the reason why ticket pricing changes are reportedly being considered.

Morgan, Perez Reportedly Both Injured on Raw

Liv Morgan and Roxanne Perez reportedly required medical evaluation following a spot during a backstage segment on Monday night's episode of Raw.

According to Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter (h/t Wrestle Features), both Morgan and Perez were placed in concussion protocol after clashing heads.

Morgan and Perez were having a backstage conversation during Raw when women's world champion Stephanie Vaquer stormed in and hit Liv from behind.

The force of the strike propelled Morgan into Perez, and they appeared to bump heads violently as a result.

After Raw, Morgan took to X to post photos of a massive goose egg on her forehead, and she vowed to get revenge on Vaquer:

With WrestleMania 42 less than two weeks away, an injury of any kind at this juncture is concerning, but the hope is Morgan will be cleared and good to go for her match against Vaquer on Night 1.

Morgan won the women's Royal Rumble match to earn a guaranteed title match at WrestleMania, and after a few weeks of consideration, she chose La Primera as her opponent.

Liv is vying to become a three-time women's world champion, while Vaquer is set to compete in the first WrestleMania match of her career.

Even though the injury is far from ideal, it could add more heat to the rivalry between Morgan and Vaquer, making for an even more compelling bout on the Grandest Stage of Them All.

How McAfee's WrestleMania Involvement Reportedly Came Together

Pat McAfee was surprisingly revealed last week on SmackDown as the person Randy Orton had been speaking to on the phone in recent weeks.

McAfee hit Cody Rhodes with a low blow, aligned himself with Orton and cut a scathing promo about the state of WWE and how Rhodes was responsible for its shortcomings.

According to Meltzer (h/t Subhojeet Mukherjee of Ringside News), it was TKO CEO Ari Emanuel's idea to make McAfee part of the Rhodes vs. Orton rivalry leading up to WrestleMania 42.

McAfee reportedly turned down the pitch at first, but ultimately accepted, as Emanuel "wanted celebrity involvement" in the storyline.

Meltzer noted that McAfee was Emanuel's first choice, and when McAfee initially declined to get involved, it led to WWE "scrambling" to find someone else for the spot.

McAfee ultimately agreed to be part of it, and now it looks as though he will have a sizable presence in the match slated to headline Night 1 of WrestleMania 42.

During his time in WWE, McAfee has largely been either a babyface or impartial, so having him join forces with a heel Orton is a departure from the former Indianapolis Colts punter's usual character.

While he wrestled occasionally, McAfee was primarily utilized as an announcer, and he never had much interaction with either Rhodes or Orton during his past appearances on WWE programming.

McAfee is a great fit for the wrestling business, though, and with his hit podcast the Pat McAfee Show airing on ESPN, his involvement creates a tie-in between WrestleMania and ESPN, which makes sense from TKO's perspective since WrestleMania will air on ESPN's streaming service.

The fan reaction to McAfee becoming part of the feud has largely been negative thus far, though, due to the belief that he was forced into it with no real rhyme or reason.

WWE still has some time to rectify the situation and make McAfee's involvement meaningful, but the creative team does seem to be fighting an uphill battle in that regard.
