WWE NXT Results, Winners, Live Grades, Reaction, Highlights After Stand & Deliver 2026
Returning to the WWE Performance Center, NXT followed up on an eventful night at Stand & Deliver 2026 with its April 7 show.
Tony D'Angelo captured the NXT Championship from Joe Hendry on Saturday in a Fatal 4-Way match, while Lola Vice won the NXT Women's Championship by pinning Jacy Jayne.
After winning at the weekend, Sol Ruca hoped to pick up more momentum by defeating Izzi Dame. Tatum Paxley and Shiloh Hill also teamed up to take on Blake Monroe and Jackson Drake.
How would NXT reset after multiple major championship changes? What would the landscape of the developmental brand look like?
DarkState Attacks Tony D'Angelo and His Top NXT Championship Challengers
1 of 8Tony D'Angelo was the first man to arrive for the night, wearing the NXT Championship around his waist.
He talked about his history in NXT that led him to this moment before naming Joe Hendry, who appeared.
"All Ego" Ethan Page and Ricky Saints both made their own claim, but DarkState arrived. Security then appeared, but a brawl still broke out between the wrestlers into the commercial break.
During picture-in-picture, the locker room came out to finally restore order. Robert Stone announced the champion and his three potential challengers would face DarkState later.
This was a decent opener, but it fell into the DarkState standard that NXT had seemingly moved past in recent months.
After Dion Lennox laid out Myles Borne at Stand & Deliver, it would have made more sense for DarkState to back him up in the pursuit of the North American Championship.
It made little sense that it took as many people as it did to clear this up and distracted from setting up a clear championship challenger hierarchy for the future.

Sol Ruca vs. Izzi Dame (w/ Shawn Spears and Niko Vance)
2 of 8
Last Time in Action: Sol Ruca defeated Zaria (NXT Stand & Deliver, April 4); Izzi Dame lost to Tatum Paxley in a Steel Cage match for the Women's North American Championship (NXT, March 17).
While Dame had the size advantage early, Ruca responded with her signature athleticism, turning the tide into the commercial break with a moonsault off the bottom rope to the floor.
The back-and-forth action turned in Ruca's favor until Shawn Spears saved Dame from a Ruca Moonsault.
Zaria took advantage of a Niko Vance distraction to spear Ruca at ringside. Dame Over sealed the upset win for Dame.
Afterward, Zaria told Ruca that she would tell her when this was done, sealing the statement with a forehead kiss.
This was a decent match but far from what these two can deliver at their best. The basic TV pace of the contest never sold that either had this in hand before the Zaria interference.
It was good to see that NXT is not moving on from Ruca vs. Zaria yet as that is still the brand's hottest angle.
Hopefully, a rematch will allow Zaria to pick up a needed win over the multiple time champion and start her own true ascent up the ranks.
On the other hand, this was a massive victory for Dame, no matter how tainted, and it could set up Dame as a challenger to Lola Vice. That would be a huge spotlight for the star of The Culling.
Result
Dame def. Ruca by pinfall.

Keanu Carver vs. Jasper Troy vs. Josh Briggs
3 of 8
Last Time in Action: Keanu Carver defeated Jasper Troy with Josh Briggs serving as the special guest referee (NXT: Roadblock, March 31).
Carver was the dominant man in this contest early on, especially after a Double Chokeslam on Troy from his two rivals.
Briggs taunted both big men throughout, trying to play on their anger while the resilience of Troy helped him fight his way back into the contest.
Carver Pounced Troy out of the ring then Pounced Briggs followed by a Falcon Arrow to win.
This was a fun battle of big men. Even when it was not clean, they kept the pace moving.
Carver and Troy's inexperience was obvious in moments, but it was also clear why NXT is pushing both men at the moment given their size, presence and explosive offense.
Carver picks up wins in back-to-back weeks, keeping up his momentum. However, because he pinned Briggs, he is likely not done with Troy.
NXT should stick to the strategy of pushing Carver rather than giving Troy a win back down the line because he could believably go after gold following this victory.
Result
Carver def. Briggs and Troy by pinfall.

DarkState vs. Tony D'Angelo, Joe Hendry, Ethan Page and Ricky Saints
4 of 8
Last Time in Action: Dion Lennox, Osiris Griffin, Saquon Shugars and Cutler James lost to Hank and Tank, Oba Femi and Ricky Saints (NXT, September 2). This was the first time Tony D'Angelo has teamed up with "All Ego" Ethan Page, Joe Hendry and/or Saints. They all last fought each other in a Fatal 4-Way where D'Angelo emerged as NXT champion.
DarkState started slow but began finding their chemistry again, isolating and wearing down their opponents.
As they isolated Joe Hendry, Lennox took a cheap shot at Hendry before Myles Borne arrived to run off Lennox.
This allowed D'Angelo the hot tag, and the champion sent the three remaining members of DarkState flying and nearly won with the Forget-About-It on Shugars.
Hendry helped clear the ring, setting the stage for a Spear and Spinebuster. Page got the blind tag, attacked the champion and won with a Twisted Grin on Shugars.
Afterward, D'Angelo laid out Page and stood tall with the NXT Championship.
DarkState is back in full force only to immediately lose. What is the point?
Well, it could have been delivering a really good tag team match because this was consistently strong in the ring.
It also helped solidify Page as a problem for D'Angelo in the future and potentially the first challenger for the NXT champion.
Still, DarkState did not need to be fed to the top guys again like they were back in 2025 when the group still had a bright future.
At this stage, a dramatic change would be needed to believe in DarkState as a credible threat to any champion.
Result
Page, D'Angelo, Hendry and Saints def. Shugars, Griffin, James and Lennox by pinfall.

Men's Speed Championship Tournament: Lexis King vs. Chazz 'Starboy' Hall
5 of 8
Last Time in Action: Lexis King alongside his BirthRight teammates lost to Shiloh Hill, EK Prosper, Wren Sinclair and Hank and Tank (NXT: Countdown to Stand & Deliver, April 4). This was the NXT debut of Chazz "Starboy" Hall.
This was all Starboy for the first two minutes, but King saw his opening when he caught Hall diving with a boot and hit the Coronation for the victory.
Even the best Speed matches can only deliver so much, and this was far from the best that NXT talent can offer in this format.
Clearly, NXT wanted to highlight the debuting Starboy, so King bumped for him all the way to the finish where the NXT veteran prevailed.
It makes sense for King to advance for the sake of BirthRight's credibility, and it would not be shocking for him to even capture the Men's Speed Championship.
It would have been nice to see more from Starboy in NXT rather than leaving the longer showcase for Wednesday when he fights for the Men's Evolve Championship.
Result
King def. Hall by pinfall to advance to the finals of the Men's Speed Championship tournament.

Tatum Paxley and Shiloh Hill vs. Blake Monroe and Jackson Drake
6 of 8Last Time in Action: This was the first time Shiloh Hill and Tatum Paxley as well as Blake Monroe and Jackson Drake have teamed up.
Monroe arrived with her fake Women's North American Championship and fought over who was the rightful champion with Tatum to start the match.
The Glamour quickly lost her desire to fight the champion, trying to walk out until Paxley dragged her back in.
Drake saved Monroe from a Psycho Trap, which set off a four-way brawl that ended with side-by-side Chickenwings, barely escaping the submission.
With the help of Brad Baylor and Ricky Smokes taking out Hill, Drake distracted Paxley for a Glamour Shot and the win for Monroe.
The dynamics of both these mixed tag teams worked wonders for a fairly predictable match, delivering the best action of the night by a solid margin.
Hill has such a weird wild energy, and Paxley is the only one on the roster that has been able to truly match his freak.
Monroe and Drake have immediate chemistry in their character work that also translated to the ring. The frat boy may have found his frat girl if NXT holds to this pairing.
The only way NXT was booking this match was to set up a win for The Glamour, and that was the best option. NXT should keep leaning into this Monroe/Paxley pairing.
Result
Monroe and Drake def. Paxley and Hill by pinfall.

Jacy Jayne and Lola Vice Agree to a Rematch at NXT Revenge Next Week
7 of 8Lola Vice talked about her journey to the NXT Women's Championship, putting mixed martial arts behind her in a humbling experience in her first year in NXT.
Fatal Influence interrupted to talk down about the win of Vice. Jacy Jayne demanded a rematch, and Robert Stone arrived to announce the rematch next week at NXT Revenge.
Fatal Influence tried to lay out Vice together, but the NXT women's champion sent all three women packing.
This was an ugly finish to the night that was hardly the fault of any woman involved. They got a tight window to deliver the final promo and had to talk over a loud crowd.
This was a bad spot for this segment that would have done better earlier in the night with a few more minutes of breathing room to play to the crowd reaction.
Vice delivered a fine babyface speech about earning her way to the top, and she and Jayne should have a good match next week.
It was entirely unnecessary though for Vice to lay out all of Fatal Influence on her own when this spot could have built some additional heat for the former champion ahead of a highly likely loss next week.

Overall Show
8 of 8After a strong night of action with plenty of surprises at Stand & Deliver, NXT did not deliver much in terms of intrigue in the aftermath.
In particular, this show reaffirmed the same feuds that went into Stand & Deliver were still ongoing, building forward to NXT Revenge.
This two-week event will deliver bigger matches and moments to compensate for a fairly basic building-block night from NXT.
For this show alone, though, the bright spots were Keanu Carver's heavyweight victory and the fun dynamic of Tatum Paxley and Shiloh Hill vs. Blake Monroe and Jackson Drake.
The rest was forgettable and relied heavily upon the new two-week event on the horizon to compensate for a lackluster product on this night.
