Jade Cargill's Best Match Yet
3 of 7
Cargill has been in WWE for two years now, is the reigning women's champion over on the SmackDown brand, has been prominently featured for the majority of her run, yet enters WrestleMania with as much pressure as any WWE Superstar on her shoulders.
As much aura as she has, as undeniable a presence as she carries, she has yet to have that one, defining match.
That changes this year in Las Vegas.
Standing across the ring from her is Rhea Ripley, who is quickly becoming synonymous with the event and the handful of truly great matches she has had on the grand stage. Look no further than her Match of the Year-winning contest with Iyo Sky and Bianca Belair last year.
Mami shows up and shows out under the brightest lights. Her physical style should mesh well with the power-based offense of her opponent and result in one of the most physically aggressive matches of the champion's career.
There have been a few good ones for Cargill, but her battle with the biggest star in the women's division will serve as her greatest and, potentially, even silence some of the doubters.
Oba Femi's Star-Making Performance
4 of 7
Time will tell if the former NXT champion actually gets the nod to beat Brock Lesnar on the grand stage, but at the very least, he will deliver a star-making performance that leaves little doubt as to The Ruler's place in the WWE Universe.
Even if the decision is made for Lesnar to go over in Vegas, The Beast clearly understands that Femi is one of the cornerstones of the company's future and will put in the work necessary to present him as much.
Look no further than what he did Monday night by instructing the 27-year-old to put his boot on his chest in a show of dominance.
Lesnar does not just grant anyone the opportunity to get over on him like that.
Expect more of the same leading into WrestleMania, where Femi will leave no doubt as to his status as a future world champion, in victory or defeat.
The Viper Strikes A Historic 15th Reign
5 of 7
Randy Orton turned heel on the March 13 episode of SmackDown, brutally attacking Cody Rhodes and bloodying him to reignite a long, complicated rivalry with roots in their legacies as third and second-generation stars, respectively.
More violent and determined than ever to add a 15th world title reign to his resume, he has even enjoyed cheers from a fan base that has long-awaited Orton's return to the dark side and the twisted mentality of his 2009 persona.
With audiences showing their first hints of Rhodes fatigue, and Orton suddenly hotter than ever before and chasing a historic feat, now feels like the time to switch the title (for the third time in four months) and build on the momentum future Hall of Famer has at this point in his career.
The alternative is to risk frustrating the audience with Rhodes and turning them against the biggest babyface in the promotion.
Liv Morgan's WrestleMania Moment
6 of 7
Liv Morgan has never competed in a singles match at WrestleMania. She has never competed for a singles championship at the biggest show of the year, either. This, despite making her debut at the Showcase of the Immortals back at the 2018 event.
That trend ends in Vegas, where the 2026 Royal Rumble winner will challenge Stephanie Vaquer for the Women's World Championship.
The match figures to be one of the best of Morgan's career, thanks to her own growth and evolution as a performance since that first dance on the big stage at WrestleMania 34, and Vaquer's immense talent.
As important as it is for her to show up and show out amid the pomp and circumstance, the match also serves as the elusive WrestleMania Moment for a workhorse of a performer who has thrown her entire life into being a WWE Superstar.
In an era where "deserves" is consistently and ignorantly confused with "earned," Morgan has both earned the opportunity and deserves this moment, and should bask in her own stardom and success this April in Sin City.
CM Punk Retains in Sin City, With Unlikely Help
7 of 7
Many fans are looking at Roman Reigns' World Heavyweight Championship Match with CM Punk at WrestleMania as somewhat of a foregone conclusion; that WWE is about to throw everything back in the Bloodline basket and give Reigns another substantial run with the top prize in the company.
Except, we know based on WWE's own lore that there is one Superstar on the roster who will not let that happen.
For the intense hatred that Seth Rollins has for CM Punk, his unwillingness to watch Reigns recapture the title and rule with an iron fist over the WWE Universe may be greater.
Look at what he put his body through at WrestleMania 40 to assist Cody Rhodes in defeating The OTC and ending his reign.
In Vegas, Punk will retain his title by way of interference from Rollins and from there, the Architect will constantly remind Punk that he not only owes him a title opportunity, but that the only reason the gold is still around his waist is because of him.
Suddenly, three different stories intersect and compelling television results.
