AEW Dynamite Results, Winners, Live Grades, Reaction, Highlights After Revolution 2026

Kevin BergeMar 18, 2026

The March 18 edition of Dynamite followed a dramatic and shocking Revolution while completing All Elite Wrestling's California run in the Save Mart Center in Fresno.

Darby Allin and Gabe Kidd hoped to settle their issues in a Coffin Match. "Timeless" Toni Storm and Marina Shafir battled again, No Holds Barred.

Will Ospreay promised a return to action against Blake Christian. The Young Bucks and "Jungle" Jack Perry teamed together again to fight Kazuchika Okada and Roppongi Vice.

Could AEW live up to the Revolution hype and keep the momentum going toward Dynasty in April?

Will Ospreay vs. Blake Christian

1 of 8

Last Time in Action: Will Ospreay alongside Hiroshi Tanahashi, The Golden Lovers and Darby Allin defeated The Death Riders, Young Bucks and Gabe Kidd (Forbidden Door, August 24); Blake Christian alongside Lee Johnson lost to Private Party in a match also including La FacciĂłn Ingobernable and The Outrunners (Collision, March 7).

Blake Christian mocked Will Ospreay throughout this match while trying to kick at his surgically repaired neck.

However, The Aerial Assassin responded with confidence and no fear, popping back up repeatedly. When Christian teased a Hidden Blade, Ospreay responded with a pair of Hidden Blades to win.

The Aerial Assassin called out Jon Moxley, who arrived with swagger. Ospreay almost caught him with a Tiger Driver 98, but Pac attacked and locked The Aerial Assassin in the Brutalizer.

Security pulled Pac away, but once Ospreay recovered, he ran at The Bastard. The brawl headed to the back and transitioned right into the next match, The Bang Bang Gang vs. The Death Riders.

This was a fun sprint, primarily one-sided to show that Ospreay is back and ready to roll again.

It seems unreal that The Aerial Assassin could already feel comfortable bumping again just six months from surgery, but it is always possible that the extent of the injury is not as severe as Ospreay stated it to be.

Regardless, The Aerial Assassin looked as good as ever and already showed his fire again on the mic.

Christian was as close to enhancement talent for this as possible, but he did his job well and showed some attitude that will keep heat on him into matches he can win.

It is hard to imagine Ospreay vs. Mox does not steal the show at Dynasty (assuming it happens on that pay-per-view).

Result

Ospreay def. Christian by pinfall.

Grade

B-

Notable Moments and Observations

  • The show started with a video recap of Revolution.
  • Ospreay noticeably and understandably avoided bumping on his heavily taped neck in his first match back.
  • The more The Aerial Assassin bumped, the happier he looked.
  • The Death Riders vs. Bang Bang Gang

    2 of 8
    Jon Moxley AEW
Jon Moxley responded to Will Ospreay's return match with a win of his own on Dynamite.

Last Time in Action: Juice Robinson and Ace Austin alongside Austin Gunn lost to The Demand (Dynamite, March 14); Jon Moxley and Wheeler Yuta alongside Pac lost to The Don Callis Family (Collision, February 21).

The Bang Bang Gang came out while security was breaking up the brawl and directed Will Ospreay toward Pac. They headed to the ring to brawl with Mox and Yuta right away.

Daniel Garcia distracted Juice until Gunn pulled him off the apron. Juice nearly knocked out Yuta with a right hand and powerbomb for a near-fall.

The Continental champion got back into the fight just in time for Yuta to dive onto Juice followed by a Paradigm Shift to Ace.

This was a fun contest and far more competitive than the opener. The result was obvious since The Bang Bang Gang rarely win on Dynamite.

Still, it was a good way to allow them some spotlight on the top show while keeping up the momentum of Mox.

The Death Riders are in an odd spot with Ospreay because Mox has become a fan favorite again. That is probably why he teamed in this match with the most hated Death Rider, trying to regain some crowd heat.

    Result

Mox and Yuta def. Ace and Juice by pinfall.

    Grade

    B

    Notable Moments and Observations

  • Mox was heated about Ospreay calling him out, even refocusing back on The Aerial Assassin in a post-match rant at Yuta.
  • Juice was throwing hard right hands in this match that looked as devastating as finishing moves in this contest.
  • Coffin Match: Darby Allin vs. Gabe Kidd

    3 of 8
    Darby Allin AEW
Darby Allin made a firm statement in his latest Coffin Match at the expense of Gabe Kidd.

Last Time in Action: Darby Allin alongside Orange Cassidy and Roderick Strong defeated Gabe Kidd alongside David Finlay and Clark Connor (Revolution, March 15).

Gabe Kidd challenged Darby Allin to meet him in the parking lot. The Daredevil answered by nearly running him over.

Allin threw him in his car's trunk then flipped it, causing a car crash that left War Ready unconscious.

Allin used a crate to roll Kidd to the ring where he strapped him in a straitjacket. Kidd bit into the head of The Daredevil to fight back, but Allin had too strong an advantage.

After a pair of Coffin Drops, he set up Allin for a tope suicida to send Kidd into the coffin and close the lid.

Afterward, he took a microphone, promising he was after MJF and would keep moving at this wild pace until he got the world title.

This is going to be a polarizing match as it was brutal and fairly one-sided, but the way it was structured sold a definitive end to this rivalry.

Kidd found himself outmatched by Allin's freak and was overwhelmed in this contest. He will need to go back to the drawing board with The Dogs to regroup.

Meanwhile, Allin made clear why he should be considered a threat to The Salt of the Earth sooner than later.

With Brody King, Bandido, Kevin Knight and Hangman Adam Page taken out of the running, Allin adds his name to a still-loaded list of potential world title challengers.

    Result

Allin def. Kidd by shutting the coffin lid.

    Grade

    C+

    Notable Moments and Observations

  • Tony Schiavone sounded genuinely perturbed by the use of the straitjacket.
  • Kidd declared that he "loves this" after tasting Allin's blood and getting a firm "sick" chant from the audience.
  • The crowd was divided on whether this match needed tables.
  • "Pushing Up Daisies" was written on the inside of the coffin.

Swerve Strickland Challenges Kenny Omega to Put His EVP Status on the Line

    4 of 8
    Swerve Strickland Prince Nana AEW
Swerve Strickland followed up his win over Brody King by challenge Kenny Omega to a rematch.

In a post-Revolution promo, Kenny Omega challenged Swerve Strickland to a second match where the winner would become the No. 1 contender to the AEW Men's World Championship.

The Mogul answered in ring saying that he would only put that opportunity on the line if Omega would defend his own EVP power as well.

This was a fantastic promo from Swerve, but the crowd was terrible for the moment. There were some "what" chants, and he had to pause to draw out proper boos.

It is hard to blame The Mogul for this as he did find ways to draw the right reactions out of them by the end.

However, it did hurt what was a strong menacing challenge to The Cleaner.

Swerve as a heel with EVP power would be a fascinating dynamic. It did not always work for The Elite, but The Mogul has shown that he always has a strong storytelling focus to his actions.

It would make sense for him to use that power not just to protect himself but pull in others to his side in this new heel run.

    Grade

    B

    Notable Moments and Observations

  • Prince Nana gave a rousing hype speech for Swerve before he arrived.
  • Excalibur announced that Tony Khan had made the match official for next week's Dynamite.
  • "Speedball" Mike Bailey vs. Mark Davis

    5 of 8
    Jet Speed Mistico AEW
"Speedball" Mike Bailey, Kevin Knight and MĂstico won the AEW World Trios Championships in a shocker at Revolution over The Don Callis Family.

Last Time in Action: "Speedball" Mike Bailey alongside Kevin Knight and MĂstico defeated

These two men hit hard and fast throughout this contest. The power of Davis was on full display, even lifting Speedball up the rungs of the ring with ease.

However, Bailey's speed kept him in the fight. He survived the BT Bomb and Corolis Force then turned it around with a Time Adventure and Ultimate Weapon to win.

This was easily the best match of the night to this point. Davis and Bailey were flying around the ring and delivering the action throughout.

These are two men that wrestle like they need to prove themselves with each performance, and this was the kind of match that should get them consistently on TV again.

Speedball seemed to declare his intention to challenge MJF soon, so it makes sense that he would win, even if his singles victories have been limited since he arrived in AEW.

    Result

    Bailey def. Davis by pinfall.

    Grade

    B+

    Notable Moments and Observations

  • Speedball declared in an interview with Renee Paquette that he admired Kenny Omega and hoped to be a future AEW men's world champion.
  • Davis not only always hits hard but typically finds innovative ways to hit in innovative ways, including a wild double-tap chop and clothesline.
  • In an oddly comical moment, Tony Schiavone questioned why Speedball did not go for the Ultimate Weapon earlier, and Excalibur had no answer, transitioning to running down the Collision line-up.
  • In a post-Revolution promo, MJF once again delivered an incredible promo, laughing at Hangman Adam Page while he admitted to all his pain. He then declared he was following the greats and heading to Disney World next.
  • No Holds Barred: Marina Shafir vs. Mina Shirakawa

    6 of 8

Last Time in Action: Marina Shafir lost to "Timeless" Toni Storm (Revolution, March 15); Mina Shirakawa lost to Lena Kross (Collision, March 14).

This was supposed to be a rematch from Revolution, but someone attacked The Timeless One. Mina agreed to take Storm's place.

This got extreme early and often, focusing on how much hatred was pushing these two women forward.

Mina went for a corkscrew splash over the ropes, but Marina turned it into Mother' Milk. The Timeless Love Bomb poked The Problem in the eye to escape.

The two fought to the apron where they both went through a table.

As Marina recovered, The Venus grabbed a champagne bottle and blasted it over the head of The Problem followed by the Uriken and a Storm Zero to win.

This was sloppy and more painful for both competitors because of it. Some of the spots did not go to plan, and the two struggled to flow.

However, the home stretch and surprise finish raised this considerably. In particular, after taking multiple tough losses, Mina got a strong spotlight in a big win.

This should probably be the last time Marina and Mina fight one on one due to their chemistry issues, but it was an emphatic statement on behalf of The Venus.

Hopefully, she can pick up a few more wins in a row to start building momentum.

As far as the attack on Storm, all signs point to Ronda Rousey, but the longer AEW waits to reveal the attacker, the more interesting the answer could be.

    Result

    Mina def. Marina by pinfall.

    Grade

    C+

    Notable Moments and Observations

  • Mina arrived with a barbed wire bat, immediately swinging with it.
  • Marina tried to send Mina through a table off the apron but ended up sending her to the floor while breaking the table with her own back.
  • The Young Bucks and "Jungle" Jack Perry vs. The Don Callis Family

    7 of 8

Last Time in Action: "Jungle" Jack Perry, Matt Jackson and Nick Jackson alongside The Rascalz defeated FTR and The Demand (Dynamite, February 25). This was the first time Kazuchika Okada, Trent Beretta and Rocky Romero have teamed up as a trio.

This action was slower than usual especially for The Young Bucks to start, who were still struggling after a tough loss to FTR.

The pace turned up first as Rocky and Trent saved Okada from a Glass Jaw from Perry. The Family isolated The Scapegoat, but eventually The Bucks got the hot tag.

They rolled over The Family, sending Okada running until all three men were locked in submissions (Snare Trap on The Rainmaker and Sharpshooters on Rocky and Trent).

While The Family got control back, it only took one more reversal followed by a BTE Trigger and Glass Jaw for the victory.

Afterward, The Bucks promised to rebound from a disappointing and embarrassing loss in front of their family, earning their way back to another World Tag Team Championships match.

Adam Copeland and Christian Cage arrived. The Rated-R Superstar made clear that they also had a personal interest in hurting FTR, especially for what Dax Harwood and Cash Wheeler did to Beth Copeland.

The Patriarch though was more focused on earning money and building his prestige. Cope revealed that FTR vs. Cage and Cope was the first match confirmed for Dynasty.

FTR arrived in response. After both teams in the ring shut down Stokely Hathaway, Dax and Cash tried to attack but were quickly send packing while Cage and Cope held the tag titles.

This was an exciting pure action match that proved once again The Bucks do not miss. It was also a letdown though in terms of strong follow-up from Revolution.

This did not feel like a true main event match as The Family, even with The Rainmaker, did not come off as a legitimate dramatic threat throughout.

The goal was to set up the post-match promo, which was a solid continuation of the Revolution opener, allowing The Young Bucks and Cage and Cope to speak.

It is weird though by AEW's standards to end the show with such a long promo, especially one that ultimately only partially involved the main event.

As a whole, the vibe was off, even while the wrestling was strong, and it led to a fairly flat finish to a sloppier night of Dynamite than usual.

    Result

Perry, Matt and Nick def. Rocky, Trent and Okada by pinfall.

    Grade

    C

    Notable Moments and Observations

  • Ahead of their trios match with The Don Callis Family, Jurassic Express arrived in an adorable vignette by bus and cut a promo with The Bucks.
  • Okada responded in a backstage interview mocking both The Young Bucks and Konosuke Takeshita. The second callout left Trent and Rocky awkwardly silent.
  • The Family hit a trio Young Bucks pose then went for Tombstone Piledrivers, but The Bucks and Perry reversed with a near-fall trio of roll-ups.
  • In a miraculous recovery, Big Stoke can walk again.
  • Overall Show

    8 of 8
    Christian Cage Adam Copeland AEW
Adam Copeland and Christian Cage announced their Dynasty title change against FTR.

It was clear that AEW was short-staffed for Dynamite, which feels like a bad excuse given how much talent is always in reserve for the company.

Still, the feeling was real. Will Ospreay's return match was understandably one-sided, but most of the matches that followed were also one-sided.

There was not as much usual drama delivered in the ring, and the crowd was flatter than usual for AEW's standard.

By the end of the night, Dynamite came off as a night to forget, never quite finding the energy that made Revolution special on Sunday.

Luckily, AEW is set to rebound quickly with Kenny Omega vs. Swerve Strickland 2 next week with serious stakes.
