McIntyre opened up the show and was involved in an argument with SmackDown general manager Nick Aldis after losing the undisputed WWE Championship to Cody Rhodes.
Jacob Fatu then entered the ring, telling McIntyre that he was the one who cost him the title. After Fatu asked McIntyre what he planned to do about it, he responded.
"You, Nick, Cody, these people, I'm done with you all," McIntyre said (0:40 mark). "I quit."
McIntyre, however, returned later during Friday's episode of SmackDown, interfering with Fatu's match against Trick Williams, indicating he may not have quit after all:
McIntyre initially won the WWE Championship by defeating Rhodes in a Three Stages of Hell match on the Jan. 9 episode of SmackDown. Fatu made his return after several months to brawl with both wrestlers in the final steel cage match, although McIntyre escaped the cage and captured the title.
He later interfered with Rhodes at the Royal Rumble and the Elimination Chamber, with the latter resulting in Randy Orton winning and moving on to WrestleMania.
Aldis was particularly upset with McIntyre following Orton's win, announcing that McIntyre would have to put the WWE Championship on the line against Rhodes on SmackDown.
Rhodes won it back during their latest matchup and is slated to face Orton at WrestleMania.
As for McIntyre, we'll see what his future holds.
