Players Championship 2026 Leaderboard and Full Cut Line List of Players Removed
The Players Championship at TPC Sawgrass is one of the most coveted titles of the entire PGA Tour season, but the battle for that trophy can wait for the weekend.
After all, the cut line was under the spotlight during Friday's second round. Ludvig Åberg is in the lead at 12-under, but the two-over cut line—which was determined by the top 65 players and ties—ended the tournament after just two rounds for a number of players.
And world No. 1 Scottie Scheffler was right on the line entering his final hole before he extended his tournament with a clutch birdie.
Here is a look at everyone who was not as fortunate and did not make it to the weekend.
The full leaderboard can be found on the PGA Tour's official website.

There were a number of headline players who were right around the cut line, including reigning champion Rory McIlroy.
McIlroy dealt with a back injury going into the tournament that impacted his preparation, and he was inconsistent at best on the way to a two-over 74 in the first round. However, he bounced back some Friday with a one-under 71 to move to one-over for the tournament.
It seemed like his weekend was potentially hanging in the balance on his final hole Friday, but he delivered with a clutch birdie to remove some of the drama.
"I'm happy to be here for the weekend," he told reporters. "I'm happy to get two more rounds at it. It would've sucked to be going home this afternoon."
Scheffler was another marquee name facing some cut-line pressure after bogies on Nos. 4 and 7 dropped him to one-over for the tournament.
It seemed like he would be safe with a birdie on the 11th, but bogeys on 14 and 16 put him right against the line. With all the pressure on his shoulders, he notched a par on the island-green 17 and a birdie on 18 to avoid an early and unexpected exit.
Brooks Koepka's roller coaster round also put him in danger of the cut line after he shot an even-par 72 Thursday.
He started out on fire in the second round with birdies on 7, 8, 9 and 11, but a bogey on 12 followed by consecutive double-bogeys on 13 and 14 dropped him to one-over for the tournament before he birdied 15, 16 and 18 to take some momentum into Saturday.
That McIlroy, Scheffler and Koepka made it through to the weekend is surely welcome news for the fans in Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida, as the tournament already lost one of the marquee players Thursday when Collin Morikawa withdrew after a single hole because of a back injury.
There will be plenty of star power on the course for the final two rounds despite the cut line eliminating a large portion of the field.
