Jon Jones Would Get 'Red Carpet' Treatment from Jake Paul's MVP, Says Co-Founder in New Video

After former UFC heavyweight champion Jon Jones requested his release from the company earlier this week, another promotion is ready to welcome him into the fold.

Nakisa Bidarian, the co-founder of Most Valuable Promotions alongside Jake Paul, told TMZ's Michael J. Babcock that MVP would "1,000 percent" want to work with Jones if he leaves the UFC.

"We would roll out the red carpet for Jon Jones," Bidarian said at the 6:10 mark.

Paul was also recently asked about the possibility of working with Jones, and he shared the same sentiment as Bidarian.

"Yeah, 100 percent. Jon, you're always welcome to come over to MVP. We'll get it popping, we'll get you paid what you deserve," Paul said in a media scrum after Tuesday's press conference for the upcoming Ronda Rousey vs. Gina Carano fight on Netflix.

On Monday, Jones expressed his frustration with UFC after being left off the White House card on June 14 and declared, "If the UFC truly feels like I'm done, then I respectfully ask to be released from my contract today."

Jones is one of the greatest fighters in UFC history, so it's highly unlikely that the company would release him from his contract and allow him to fight for another promotion.

Still, with Paul, Bidarian and MVP delving into MMA with the Rousey vs. Carano event, it's starting to look like the grass is greener on the other side for Jones and other fighters who are ready to explore their opportunities outside of the UFC.

If Jones eventually hits the open market, it would represent a paradigm shift in MMA, and MVP will be waiting to swoop in and negotiate a deal for his next fight.
