WWE SummerSlam 2015: Predicting Potential Swerves at Marquee PPV
A New Diva Joins the Storyline
The new storyline in the Divas division concerning the emergence of several NXT talents has done wonders for the division.
But there will always be speculation and discussion as to how it will remain fresh over the next few months, with the most obvious answer involving yet more stars stepping up to the plate.

Modern-Day Dream Matches 💭

Most Likely Backlash Heel/Face Turns 🎭
So, with SummerSlam naturally one of the biggest shows of the year, it would be a great opportunity for another NXT Diva to come up and make a sizeable impact by joining one of the teams.
Bayley has more than played a role in the success of women's wrestling in NXT, and she's almost the last of the holy quartet left at Full Sail University, after Sasha Banks, Charlotte and Becky Lynch all graduated to the main roster.
Whether she comes in as a babyface or a heel (although a heel would likely make more of an impact), Bayley should storm down during the scheduled match at SummerSlam and take out one of her NXT rivals. It would send shock waves through the division and would be a swerve that could easily happen.
Sting *Finally* Sets Up a Match with Undertaker
All the talk heading toward SummerSlam straight after Battleground was how Sting was going to get involved and add some real prestige and star power to the show.
Initial thoughts were that he was going to play a role in the match involving Roman Reigns, Dean Ambrose and The Wyatt Family, but that now looks to be a distant dream, according to Mike Johnson of PWInsider.com.
Of course, plans change all the time in WWE, and there's no reason to completely rule Sting out, especially as he's in the area for a signing with WWE that weekend, as Johnson noted. However, instead of getting involved with Wyatt, Reigns and Company, why not drop into the main event of the whole show?
It seemed pure logic that when WWE signed Sting, it did so to pit him against Undertaker at some point in their respective careers, with WrestleMania 31 the obvious destination. However, Sting lost to Triple H and Taker beat Bray Wyatt, which left fans wondering if and when it would ever happen.
"Even in their 50's, I still wouldn't say no to a Sting/Undertaker feud. Two legends, two icons. It would be something incredibly special.

With Taker set to face Brock Lesnar in the main event, Sting's costing Undertaker the match and enabling Lesnar to win would not only make for good drama and entertainment but would also potentially set up the dream match between the two in the best way possible.
Lesnar would retains his winning record (or at least his undefeated record), Taker would look strong in defeat if beaten controversially and fans can really start to dream of Sting vs. Undertaker. They're both in their 50s now, so time is running out for windows of opportunity for this match to happen. Now would be a great time to strike.
The Mini-Shield Implodes
For the first part of 2014, the biggest talking points in WWE were whether The Shield would split after an incredible starting run and who would be the man that caused it.
As it turned out, it was Seth Rollins who split and became the sole heel to leave Roman Reigns and Dean Ambrose on their own, and in recent months their friendship has once again come to the fore.
But with Roman Reigns still not quite firing as a top heel and it looking less and less likely that Sting will be involved at SummerSlam, could the big swerve of the night come from the two men remaining from The Shield's high-profile split?
That swerve would obviously be a turn from either Reigns or Dean Ambrose to set up a feud between those two, with Reigns surely the more likely candidate.
His big push just didn't work, and Reigns is still feeling the effects of it to this day when it comes to crowd reactions. With a hostile New York crowd likely to be on his back once again, the best way to silence them would be to take down Ambrose in an act of defiance.
"Roman Reigns was in the main event of WrestleMania 31. His run since then has been a mixed bag, at best. What's his end game? Heel? #RAW

It's a long shot, of course, but a Reigns-Ambrose feud would certainly be worth watching. Reigns could operate as the ruthless, no-nonsense heel who specialises in beating people up, while Ambrose could continue to thrive in the babyface role he looked so strong in during his rivalry with Seth Rollins.
