Ranking the 3 WWE Stars Who Could Be The Vision's Mystery Attacker
It has been a terrible year for The Vision, but the identity of its masked attacker will signal the next direction for the snakebitten faction.
Just when you thought it was safe to watch another premium live event, WWE hits you over the head with yet another whodunit. No, it's not the mysterious crate set to open at Elimination Chamber; it's another man in a hoodie.
The hooded figure isn't exactly the most original plot device in this creative team's repertoire. The company utilized the same play to reintroduce Austin Theory last year, and The Bloodline employed it multiple times during its time on top.

Modern-Day Dream Matches 💭

Most Likely Backlash Heel/Face Turns 🎭
The newest iteration turned heads as he attacked Bron Breakker during the men's Royal Rumble match and cost him a chance to avenge his loss to CM Punk. Unfortunately, the second-generation wrestler is out indefinitely after emergency surgery on a hernia.
On Monday's WWE Raw, Bronson Reed became the latest member of the original lineup bitten by the injury bug.
Although it's unclear if plans for the masked man will change ahead of WrestleMania 42, this is our ranking of the potential culprits.
Honorable mention: Seth Rollins
Obviously, Rollins is the prime suspect because the masked attacker blindsided Breakker and delivered a curb stomp before he could officially enter the men's Rumble match.
Paul Heyman even believes it was his former client and the original leader of The Vision. To that end, Rollins has a clear motive. His former protege kicked him out of the faction during Raw following WWE Crown Jewel and put him on the shelf.

However, The Visionary said he wouldn't be cleared in time to travel to Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, and participate in the Rumble. Although he also hinted he didn't need his shoulder to do his signature move, it's still hard to imagine his ongoing recovery would allow him to appear this soon.
WWE or the masked man would certainly like us to think it's him, but that's too obvious, isn't it? Most of the clues point to Rollins and an upcoming match with Breakker. Still, that's what we thought when Theory reemerged, so there has to be a similar twist ahead.
3. Logan Paul
Logan Paul tabbed Breakker to lead The Vision to victory at the Royal Rumble before the masked assailant disrupted his entrance, ending his night prematurely.

That makes it a bit suspicious that the 30-year-old later benefited from his absence and ended up in the final four. It's enough to make you wonder whether he plotted against his stablemate and used the opportunity to try to win himself.
As entrant No. 20, Paul entered the fray after Breakker was long gone, and Reed and Theory still offered him an advantage. It's almost like it worked out perfectly for him to survive longer than the others.
That would be an interesting development because The Maverick never really fit with The Vision, and he isn't the most trustworthy character.
Nevertheless, there is no clear evidence he sabotaged the faction for his personal gain yet.
2. Adam Pearce
Adam Pearce is the most compelling option due to his tension with Heyman and with The Vision.
A technicality forced the Raw general manager to lift Breakker's suspension in time to compete in the men's Rumble match.

Pearce begrudgingly apologized to the 28-year-old because he put his hands on him first, but Heyman clearly called someone to reprimand him.
Considering how Breakker secured a spot in the men's Royal Rumble match, it would make perfect sense that Pearce took him out before he could compete. That would be the ultimate revenge for all the trouble he and The Oracle caused on Monday nights.
The only hiccup in this theory is that this storyline would have to lead to a match, and Breakker vs. Pearce isn't a WrestleMania-caliber matchup. It could make for an entertaining TV angle, but it's not the kind of long-term plan WWE usually relies on at this time of year.
1. Grayson Waller
Grayson Waller climbed to the top of our ranking following a report from High Spots Podcast that WWE pulled him from NXT live events so he could be in Saudi Arabia.

This raised suspicions because the Australian wasn't promoted for the event, and he didn't compete in the men's Rumble match. However, he did team with The New Day in a dark match against The Motor City Machine Guns and Shinsuke Nakamura.
Nonetheless, many fans have noticed that the man in the black hoodie looks like Waller close up. Sure, WWE could have used more than one person to throw us off, but it isn't that far-fetched because he has ties to Theory.
Maybe everyone assumed Theory was Rollins' inside man when he has been aligned with Waller instead.
The masked man notably only attacked Paul during his last appearance. This could've been a ruse to distract anyone who thinks the two are working for him.
After all, both members of A-Town Down Under have similarities to the Paul brothers. Theory notably portrayed an influencer who took selfies and cut promos on his phone, and Waller is a media-savvy personality with surprisingly high-level athleticism.
They would work perfectly as underlings in a faction led by the YouTuber-turned-WWE Superstar because he sees himself in them. This could be the entrepreneur's plan to rebuild the crumbling faction in his vision.
