Opening Promo
2 of 9
Quick Hits
The opening segment of Monday's show felt forced.
The Vision and Usos were conveniently in the same place, at the same time, despite no meaningful interaction in recent weeks. Knight interrupting Pearce and talking trash on Logan Paul, Bronson Reed, and Austin Theory was fun and led to the underrated usage of "turd stain" as an insult. Still, it felt like a classic pro wrestling setup rather than organic storytelling.
The match will likely be strong based on the talent involved, but that does not excuse the subpar creative that accompanied it.
Grade: C+
LA Knight and The Usos vs. The Vision
3 of 9
Last Time in Action: The Usos defeated Alpha Academy (Raw, February 9); LA Knight defeated Penta and Austin Theory (Raw, February 9); Logan Paul and Bronson Reed lost the Royal Rumble (Royal Rumble, January 31)
Quick Hits
A red-hot crowd hung on every moment of the night's opening match, rooting on Knight as he found himself isolated from his partners, the world tag team champions, The Usos.
After several minutes on the wrong side of the ring, he created separation and tagged in Jey Uso. The action descended into chaos from there as all six competitors waged war in and around the ring.
A late-match surge from Reed, which included a tope suicida to The Usos, set up a knockout punch from Paul, a Tsunami from the big Aussie, and a win for The Vision.
The mystery man in black spoiled the victory by delivering a stomp to Paul onto the announce table before taking off into the crowd.
Result: The Vision defeated The Usos and LA Knight
Grade: B
Elimination Chamber Qualifier: Bayley vs. Asuka vs. Nattie
4 of 9
Last Time in Action: Nattie fought to a double count-out with Maxxine Dupri (Raw, February 9); Bayley and Asuka lost the Royal Rumble (Royal Rumble, January 31)
Quick Hits
Three of the most important competitors in the history of the women's division battled for an entry into the Elimination Chamber on February 28.
A strong, action-packed match saw Nattie unleash her newfound aggression while Bayley and Asuka relied on timing to counter. Late in the match, the third-generation heel delivered a German suplex to Bayley on the ring apron, then applied the Sharpshooter to Asuka.
The Role Model recovered, caught her with a knee to the head and delivered a Bayley-to-Belly suplex to The Empress of Tomorrow for a very close two-count.
With Nattie out of the equation, the Japanese competitor caught Bayley in the Asuka Lock for the submission win and a chance to head to WrestleMania 42 by way of the Elimination Chamber.
Result: Asuka defeated Bayley and Nattie
Grade: B
CM Punk Promo
5 of 9
Last Time in Action: CM Punk defeated AJ Styles via disqualification (Raw, January 26)
Quick Hits
World heavyweight champion CM Punk hit the ring to discuss his upcoming defenses against Finn Balor at Elimination Chamber and Roman Reigns at WrestleMania.
He said the office was not happy with him for jeopardizing the "biggest WrestleMania main event ever," as Michael Cole repeatedly referred to it as on commentary, before Balor interrupted.
McDonagh and Dominik Mysterio flanked their Judgment Day teammate, who claimed he was the best in the world because he learned in dojos, from luchadors, and knew European catch wrestling.
Punk disagreed and again asked his Elimination Chamber opponent who he wants to be remembered as. Cole asked if it awakened something in him that had laid dormant for too long, a nice cliffhanger call by the voice of WWE and conclusion to a segment enhanced by the world champ's involvement.
Grade: B+
Penta vs. El Grande Americano
6 of 9
Last Time in Action: Penta lost to LA Knight in a match also involving Austin Theory (Raw, February 9); El Grande Americano lost to Je'Von Evans (Raw, February 2)
Quick Hits
With a shot at Mysterio's Intercontinental Championship on the line, Penta squared off with El Grande Americano in a battle of luchadors.
Both men kicked out of signature maneuvers, highlighting the intense desire to challenge for gold. Americano even kicked out of a Penta Driver, a booking choice, to be sure.
The Original El Grande Americano thwarted interference from Rayo and Bravo by pulling them under the ring, allowing Penta to deliver a springboard Mexican Destroyer for the win in a good, albeit overbooked, match.
After the match, the OG attacked his imposter and nearly unmasked him, but Los Americanos pulled their leader to safety.
Result: Penta defeated El Grande Americano
Grade: C+
AJ Lee Promo
7 of 9
Last Time in Action: AJ Lee, Charlotte Flair, Alexa Bliss, Rhea Ripley, and Iyo Sky defeated Becky Lynch, The Kabuki Warriors, Nia Jax, and Lash Legend (Survivor Series, November 28, 2025)
Quick Hits
AJ Lee hit the ring to discuss her upcoming match with Becky Lynch at Elimination Chamber. She called out Big Time Becks and the women's intercontinental champion obliged.
Lynch denounced the idea of Lee becoming a champion again and vowed to defeat her in Chicago at the premium live event.
Lee dared her rival to join her in the ring, even offering her the first shot, but Lynch chickened out, leaving an arena full of fans in Memphis jeering The Man.
An interesting segment that did not further the feud but also did not feel like a total waste, either, thanks to the content of the women's performances.
Grade: B
Elimination Chamber Qualifier: Je'Von Evans vs. Gunther vs. Dominik Mysterio
8 of 9
Last Time in Action: Je'Von Evans and Original El Grande Americano defeated Los Americanos (Raw, February 9); Gunther defeated AJ Styles (Royal Rumble, January 31); Dominik Mysterio and El Grande Americano lost to Rey Mysterio and Rey Fenix (AAA Guerra de Titanes, December 20, 2025)
Quick Hits
Three wrestlers of different backgrounds competed for a spot in the Elimination Chamber as Gunther, Je'Von Evans, and Dominik Mysterio squared off in a Triple Threat Match main event.
The Ring General dominated at various points, utilizing his unforgiving strikes to neutralize his opponents. Ever resilient, Evans found new and creative ways to fight back. Mysterio, the sneakiest of the three, grabbed the timekeeper's hammer late in the match and appeared poised to use it.
A run-in from Dragon Lee, who blasted Gunther with the ring bell, set in motion the finish.
With the former world champion out of the picture, Evans withstood a 619, dodged a frog splash, and delivered the OG Cutter for one of the biggest victories of his young career.
Result: Evans defeated Gunther and Mysterio
Grade: B+
Overall Grade
9 of 9
More effort has gone into the Elimination Chamber premium live event than into the Royal Rumble, with compelling rivalries and big-time matchups set to unfold in Chicago on February 28.
Punk vs. Balor feels like a big deal and the most significant thing the latter has been involved in for a while, and that was emphasized in Monday's promo.
The qualifying matches were fun and had surprising outcomes, none bigger than Evans, who has already had a momentous 2026 with his iron man performance in the men's Rumble and this latest victory.
The Vision feels less important now than at any other point in its existence, and the Liv Morgan-Stephanie Vaquer story is not quite hitting on all cylinders, but the Americano feud is mindless fun.
A solid show that was not quite as good as the last few, but it still tops anything else produced by WWE right now.
