AEW Grand Slam 2026 Results, Winners, Live Grades, Reaction and Highlights
Welcome to Bleacher Report's live coverage of the Grand Slam episode of AEW Collision on February 14.
AEW took the show to Australia this week for this special episode and stacked the card to make sure it was a must-see event.
Here's a look at what was advertised for the show:
Let's take a look at what happened at Grand Slam Australia.
Jon Moxley vs. Konosuke Takeshita
1 of 7
Grand Slam Australia opened with Moxley defending the Continental Championship against Takeshita.
They seemed to be evenly matched early on, coming to a stalemate after the first sequence and finding ways to counter each other. They shared a tense moment when Takeshita allowed Moxley to get to his feet after escaping a headscissor.
They paced themselves and worked up to the bigger spots over time. It felt like a natural progression and allowed them to take time to sell bigger moves while also having faster sequences that ended with one big takedown.
The match these two had in the Continental Classic was great, but this one outdid it. Both men looked like they were at the top of their game and gave the fans in Australia a match that would have felt at home on any AEW PPV.
While a decisive finish is almost always the ideal outcome, having these two come to a time limit draw is going to make their third encounter feel even bigger when it eventually happens.
Mox got in Takeshita's face after it ended, so Big Take took him down and left him lying in the ring.
Result: Time Limit Draw
Grade: A-

Babes of Wrath vs. MegaBad
2 of 7
The women's tag titles were on the line when Willow Nightingale and Harley Cameron defended the belts against Penelope Ford and Megan Bayne.
Cameron immediately ran at Bayne when the bell rang. The Megasus planted her in the corner, but Harley and Willow managed to take control with a double-team sequence.
This match had a good pace and some fun action, but it felt like there were a few too many moments when everyone was in the ring and the ref was making no effort to get it back to just the legal competitors, which happens a lot in AEW.
The crowd was firmly on the side of Cameron and Nightingale, so everyone in the arena was happy when they retained the titles thanks to Harley pinning Ford.
Their celebration was cut short by the AEW debut of Lena Kross, who helped Bayne and Ford take the champs down. Kross and Bayne shared a tense stare but posed together to end the segment.
Result: Babes of Power defeated MegaBad
Grade: B
Notable Moments and Observations
Adam Page vs. Andrade El Idolo
3 of 7
We got to see a first-time matchup on this show with Page and El Idolo fighting over a future world title shot against the winner of tonight's main event.
It didn't take long for these two to get into a striking battle. Hangman went for the Buckshot Lariat early, but El Idolo had it scouted.
Andrade took a moment to pose for a picture with a fan in the crowd but regretted it when Page hit a running boot and then also took a pic with the same woman.
Andrade has had a string of great matches since returning to AEW, and Page has had one of the best runs of his career over the past year, so there was little doubt that this would be a great showing.
Callis tried to interfere, but Hangman was able to overcome it and hit the Buckshot Lariat to get the win and earn his title shot at Revolution.
Result: Page defeated El Idolo
Grade: B-plus
Notable Moments and Observations
Orange Cassidy and Toni Storm vs. Wheeler Yuta and Marina Shafir
4 of 7
The next match had an interesting stipulation. Whoever took the pin on their team would lose their hair, so only one member on the losing team was in danger of being shaved at the end.
Cassidy and Storm didn't wait for their opponents to get to the ring and attacked them as they made their way through the crowd to get the match started.
This was more of an intergender fight than a mixed tag match, as the men and women fought at times. Yuta even hit a piledriver on Storm on top of the stage. Luther carried her off while OC was left alone against the Death Riders.
When we returned from a break, Storm marched back to the ring and hit Yuta with a low blow before going after Shafir with a series of German suplexes.
This match was chaotic and featured a handful of moments meant to be more fun than logical. All four competitors did a great job, but this match definitely won't be for everyone.
Intergender wrestling can be tricky to sell on television, but OC and Yuta being smaller wrestlers helped make it feel like a fair fight.
Toni hit Storm Zero on Yuta to get the pin and the win, which meant he finally had to shave off the mop of hair he has been growing for the past couple of years. He tried to bail, but Mox came out and made him face the music.
Result: Storm and Cassidy defeated Yuta and Shafir
Grade: B
Notable Moments and Observations
Kyle Fletcher vs. Mark Briscoe
5 of 7
Briscoe and Fletcher met for the seventh time in a Ladder match for the TNT title, which Fletcher just won from Tommaso Ciampa just a week after Ciampa won it from Briscoe.
The Chicken took control early on and brought the fight out of the ring, but Fletcher sent him flying from the top of a ladder onto the apron to turn things around.
Ladder matches are always extra brutal and this one was no exception. Both men made good use of the stipulation and took some big bumps. Briscoe was bleeding heavily from his head by the time we returned from the break.
While this was an entertaining bit of mayhem, it actually fell short of some of the traditional wrestling matches these two have had. It was still a solid performance, but it's not going to go down as the best of their series of seven matches. It was definitely the most chaotic, though.
Briscoe came close, but Fletcher was able to bring down the title to retain and get the win.
Result: Fletcher defeated Briscoe
Grade: B-plus
Notable Moments and Observations
MJF vs. Brody King
6 of 7
The main event for this special episode of Collision saw Brody King challenge MJF for the men's world title.
MJF played his usual mind games by leaving the ring as soon as the match started, so he could pose for the crowd and frustrate King. As soon as they locked up, King shoved him right back out of the ring.
They didn't rush into anything big and took their time during the first half. MJF began focusing on King's leg, so that slowed down the action for a little while.
This feud hasn't been going very long, but they have done great making it feel like a personal rivalry. King's popularity has seen a big increase as a result, and he did a tremendous job giving the champion a tough fight.
A lot of different factors made this match fun, but it was how they told their story that made it great. The way they progressed the action felt natural, and they seemed to have even more chemistry as opponents than they did in their last match.
Even though the Ladder match between Fletcher and Briscoe had more exciting spots, this was the right choice to put in the main event. It helped close a strong episode of Collision on a high note.
Bandido showed up to give King some support from ringside, but it wasn't enough to get him the win. After a hard-fought fight, MJF secured the victory with the Heatseeker.
Result: MJF defeated King
Grade: A-

The Final Word
7 of 7Collision has never been as strong of a show as Dynamite, but this might be one of the best episodes the show has had since its debut.Â
Every single match we got on Saturday ranged from good to great. There wasn't a single weak bout on the card and no time was wasted with talking segments. In some ways, this felt like a mini PPV.Â
The two best matches of the night bookended the show. Moxley and Takeshita started us off with a strong performance that led to a draw, and MJF and King closed the show with a fantastic world title fight.Â
AEW's in-ring product has always been where it shines brightest, so focusing solely on wrestling this week was a good call. If you didn't see this show when it aired, it's definitely worth checking out on replay.Â
