Olympic Figure Skating 2026 USA Dates, Event Times, Odds for Remaining Schedule
Team USA already has two figure skating medals in the bag at the 2026 Winter Olympics.
At least one more medal will be earned by the Americans through Ilia Malinin in the men's singles event.
A fourth medal is very likely in the women's singles, but which skater or skaters reach the podium is unknown.
If a medal is earned in the women's event, the Americans would take at least one medal from four of five events. Team USA is not expected to contend for the medal stand in pairs.

Ilia Malinin has five points of separation between himself and Japan's Yuma Kagiyama after the men's short program.
Malinin, the reigning two-time world champion, is expected to finish off his first individual Olympic gold medal in Friday's free skate.
Kagiyama is the only skater who can truly challenge Malinin, and even if the Japanese skater is perfect on Friday, it may not be enough to unseat the American from the top of the standings.
Alysa Liu, Amber Glenn and Isabeau Levito are all chasing down Kaori Sakamoto in the women's singles.
Sakamoto is one of the most seasoned skaters across all events at the Milan Cortina Games. She is after her first Olympic gold medal. She was the women's bronze medalist in Beijing.
Liu is the reigning world champion and took second behind Sakamoto in the short program during the team event.
Glenn was third in the free skate portion of the team event. She needs a better skate across both programs to be considered for a medal.
Levito enters Milan with the lowest chance to medal among the three American women, but she is two years removed from a podium finish at the World Championships.
Team USA is not expected to medal in pairs. Danny O'Shea and Ellie Kam were fourth and fifth in their two skates in the team event.
