Booking Bad Bunny's Next WWE Appearance After Super Bowl LX Halftime Performance
From Super Bowl LX to potentially WWE WrestleMania 42, it may not be long before Bad Bunny is performing on another major stage.
The Grammy Award winner has risen to record-setting stardom since WWE fans were first introduced to him at the 2021 Royal Rumble. He's been among the most streamed artists on Spotify in the last six years and received critical acclaim for his Super Bowl halftime performance on Sunday night.
In addition to continuing to kill it with his music career and occasionally acting, Bad Bunny's sights could soon shift back to the squared circle now that The Big Game is in his rearview.
He would be a great get for WWE given the huge wave of momentum he's riding right now, and the timing couldn't be better with WrestleMania right around the corner.
There are any number of ways he can be used, but there's one or two opponents in particular who would make the most sense for him to have if his return to WWE is indeed imminent, according to Bryan Alvarez of Wrestling Observer Radio.
Bad Bunny Has an Extensive History with WWE
Bad Bunny was a relative unknown when he made his WWE debut at the Royal Rumble in 2021, appearing inside the ThunderDome to perform his hit single "Booker T" with the two-time WWE Hall of Famer himself also on stage.

It didn't take long for him to win over wrestling fans with his impressive athleticism by helping Damian Priest, a newcomer from NXT at the time, eliminate The Miz and John Morrison from the men's Rumble match later that night.
Benito went on to have an entertaining tag team affair alongside Priest against Miz and Morrison at WrestleMania 37, exceeding all expectations in the process.
After a memorable cameo in the 2022 men's Rumble, he returned to WWE TV in the spring of 2023 to feud with former friend Priest and beat him in a stellar San Juan Street Fight at Backlash in his native Puerto Rico.
Their hardcore war was widely considered to be one of the best bouts in WWE of the year, yet Bunny's other endeavors have prevented him from making a return to pro wrestling where he'd be welcomed back with open arms.
Despite senator Ruben Gallego recently calling for Bunny to join All Elite Wrestling to expand its fanbase, it's safe to assume his next wrestling-related appearance will be in WWE, with whom he already has an established relationship.
Triple H and the rest of WWE's TKO regime would surely jump at the opportunity to have one of the most recognizable names in pop culture today back in the company, not only to appear but also to compete.
His stock has never been higher and thus WWE could benefit big time from having him around again.
Predicting Bad Bunny's Next WWE Appearance and Opponent
Although WrestleMania 42 is still over two months away, it feels too late in the game for Bunny to be factored into anything of note unless it's quietly been planned this entire time.
That doesn't necessarily rule out an appearance from him at the event, though.
In fact, Bunny having some sort of a non-wrestling role at The Show of Shows in Las Vegas on April 18-19, such as making the save for Priest or Rey Mysterio, could set up whatever he'll be involved with next in WWE.
Dominik Mysterio and Logan Paul are among the two men Rey has had issues with as of late, and it's logical that he'd call in Benito for backup seeing as how either one of them would be ideal opponents for the former 24/7 champion.

Dominik is the reigning intercontinental champion but hasn't been in action since suffering a shoulder injury at an AAA event at the end of December. All signs point to him defending against Finn Bálor at WrestleMania 42 and that being the big blowup for The Judgment Day.
Once that rivalry runs its course, Bunny battling Dominik later in the year would make for a fantastic dynamic with how beloved and despised they are in their respective roles. It would also result in more exposure for Dirty Dom, who is well on his way to becoming a top talent in WWE.
Bunny vs. Logan Paul would be an even bigger bout for WWE to book after the public beef they've had going for some time.
In a 2022 interview with The Philip DeFranco Show, Paul accused Bunny of exploiting the same Puerto Rican tax laws he was taking advantage of, before later praising his WWE work on his own podcast.
Paul has had many more matches than Bunny at this point, but it's neck and neck between them as far as who fans consider the best celebrity wrestler.
Even earlier in the day on Super Bowl Sunday, Paul promptly responded with "no" when asked by an interviewer whether he was looking forward to Bunny's halftime performance. He then argued against his brother Jake's complaints about the Puerto Rican representation that was present during the performance, but it's clear there's still a lot of bad blood there.
It was previously reported by POST Wrestling that Puerto Rico was earmarked to host Backlash again this May, but WWE confirmed during the Royal Rumble that the event will be held in Tampa, Florida, instead.
In a bit of a conspiracy theory, it's possible WWE is purposely holding off on doing a premium live event in Puerto Rico until they know for certain that Benito can take part in it. It was an electric atmosphere the last time he was there for the match with Priest and that should be where his return to the ring happens as well.
Another Bad Bunny bout in WWE seems inevitable, and if his other outings were any indication, his next one could be bigger than his Super Bowl performance.
