Cam Skattebo Open to WWE After NFL Career, Predicting Dream Matches for Giants' Star RB
New York Giants running back Cam Skattebo suggested this week that a professional wrestling career with WWE could be in his future.
During an interview with TMZ Sports (beginning at the one-minute mark), Skattebo was asked if joining WWE one day is a possibility. Skattebo responded by saying, "There's a chance, there's a chance. I feel like I'm a pretty good actor, so there's a chance there."

When asked if he is capable of wrestling, Skattebo expressed his belief that he is due to his longtime fandom and experience roughhousing with his brother.
The former Arizona State standout took the NFL by storm as a rookie fourth-round pick in 2025, racking up 617 total yards and seven touchdowns in eight games for the Giants before a dislocated ankle cut his debut campaign short.
Only a few weeks after the injury occurred, Skattebo attended an episode of WWE's Monday Night Raw at Madison Square Garden in New York City.
Despite his injury, Skattebo got physically involved from the front row by shoving JD McDonagh after his Judgment Day stablemate, Dominik Mysterio, got in the face of comedian Andrew Schulz:
If the 24-year-old Skattebo does try his hand at WWE once his football career is over, there will be no shortage of intriguing matchups at his disposal.
Chief among them are Superstars with football backgrounds such as Roman Reigns and Bron Breakker.
Reigns is the biggest star in WWE currently, but given that he is 40 years of age, it is fair to wonder if he will still be wrestling semi-regularly or at all by the time Skattebo possibly transitions to wrestling.
Breakker, however, is 28 years old and hasn't even entered the prime of his career yet.
A former running back at Kennesaw State University, Breakker is arguably the most explosive athlete in the entire wrestling business as evidenced by his devastating spear.
Skattebo and Breakker flying off the ropes before colliding in the middle of the ring is the type of viral moment WWE would undoubtedly love to make a reality.
Another dream opponent to consider isn't even in wrestling currently, but he could have a future in the business just like Skattebo.
San Francisco 49ers superstar tight end George Kittle is among the most well-known celebrity wrestling fans, and he has been spotted many times at WWE events over the years.
Kittle even got physically involved at WrestleMania 39 when he struck The Miz and helped Pat McAfee beat Miz in a match.
Last year on the Bussin' with the Boys podcast (h/t Tristi Rodriguez of NBC Sports Bay Area), Kittle said he "would love" to have a wrestling career in WWE one day.
If that happens, Kittle could be the ideal opponent or even tag team partner for Skattebo.
