Olympic Alpine Skiing Schedule 2026 Live Stream, TV Guide for Women's Downhill
The buildup to the women's downhill event has been dominated by Lindsey Vonn's admirable attempt to compete with a torn ACL.
The 41-year-old Vonn tore her ACL in the final event on the FIS World Cup circuit prior to the 2026 Winter Olympics.
Vonn gone through a pair of training runs already and is set to challenge for a medal on Sunday.
While all the focus has understandably been on Vonn, there are a handful of athletes, including Italy's Sofia Goggia, who could steal the spotlight during the event itself.

Vonn generated plenty of attention for the women's downhill event because of her injury situation.
The 41-year-old was already going to be one of the top stories in alpine skiing because of her stature within the sport, but there's even more of a spotlight on her now since she'll compete with a torn ACL.
Vonn finished third in the second of two training runs, a result that suggests she might actually be in contention for a medal on Sunday.
A few Italians will have a say in the medal race, though, including Sofia Goggia, who lit the Olympic torch in Cortina d'Ampezzo during Friday's Opening Ceremony.
Goggia and Vonn are both previous gold medal winners in the downhill. Vonn was first back in 2010 and Goggia captured first in 2018.
Goggia also took home the silver four years ago in Beijing and has been a constant fixture on the podium in FIS World Cup events since then.
The German duo of Emma Aicher and Kira Weidle-Winklemann are also worth watching in the medal race.
The pair of Germans rank inside the top five in the World Cup standings, but neither of them have an Olympic medal in downhill.
