Biggest Issues Facing Borussia Dortmund in Final Month of 2015 Transfer Window
We now have less than 28 days left before the summer transfer window slams shut in Germany for another year.
The Bundesliga's top clubs will undoubtedly have most of their transfers done and dusted, yet over the course of August, some much needed business is surely still to play out across Germany's top division.
Borussia Dortmund will be no exception to this, with a number of factors and questions still to be answered by manager Thomas Tuchel and his backroom staff before the end of the month.
Here are a few issues the club will have to handle while the transfer window is still open.
Does the Team Need Another Striker?

The biggest signing to involve Dortmund this summer was, in fact, Ciro Immobile's loan move to Sevilla, which made plenty of sense to most fans, but has since left a notable hole in Tuchel's attack.
Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang is the undisputed goalscorer at the club and Tuchel's first choice whenever fit. But should the Gabon international pick up an injury this season, his team may begin to struggle finding a suitable replacement.
With the transfer window slowly coming to a close, Tuchel must surely be tempted to dive back into the club budget and dig out enough cash for a back-up striker—just in case one is sorely needed in the coming campaign.
Should the Club Sign Xherdan Shaqiri?

One of the more notable transfer rumours to surface around the Westfalenstadion is the news that former Bayern Munich forward Xherdan Shaqiri may well be on his way back to Germany.
National newspaper Bild (h/t ESPN.com's Stephan Uersfeld) broke the story Monday in stating that Dortmund were willing to part with €15 million for the midfielder's signature. But does the club actually need him?
The winger would join a whole host of players awaiting their turn on either wing, which would be fine if Shaqiri actually had anything to offer that the rest couldn't already do. Shaqiri may be an interesting player when on form, but he's probably not going to revolutionise Tuchel's attacking options.
Should Tuchel Cut the Dead Weight?

Although many fans would find it hard to believe considering the injury scares this team has gone through over the past two seasons, it does seem as though Tuchel has far too many players in certain positions.
Perhaps the most notable is in midfield, where the Dortmund coach has no less than 15 players who can play across the four or five positions. That's far too many, and some will undoubtedly have to be sold off before the transfer window shuts.
Although both have been outstanding servants to the side, Kevin Grosskreutz and Jakub Blaszczykowski have very little to offer this side. Selling each for a tidy sum could free up some cash for elsewhere in the team and offer some space to a very crowded part of the squad.
