Adrian Stubbs Makes Arizona HSBB History With 100-Point Game in 3 Quarters, Top Highlights
An Arizona student made state high school basketball history with an 100-point game earlier this month.
Adrian Stubbs, a senior at Maryvale High School in Arizona, scored 100 points in three quarters of a 109-25 win over Yuma Kofa High School on Jan. 13, per ESPN's Jason Jordan.
That included 70 points in the first half alone despite Stubbs missing four free throws, per Richard Obert of the Arizona Republic.
He finished historic game having made just six three-pointers, according to Obert.
The previous record for points in an Arizona high school basketball game had stood since 1966 at 75 points, according to Obert.
That record was set in 1A basketball competition. Maryvale coach Jeremy Smith told Obert that Stubbs had entered the season with a goal of breaking the 6A record of 57 points.
"He knew what was at stake, historically. It was incredible what he did," Smith told Obert.
Stubbs, listed as a 5-foot-10 point guard in the 2026 recruiting class, is not ranked nationally by 247Sports.
