Seth Rollins has been making the media rounds in his time away from the ring, and he provided an update on his contract situation with WWE.

Rollins, who is currently sidelined after undergoing shoulder surgery, recently appeared on Mohr Stories and was asked by host Jay Mohr about how much time he has remaining on his current deal.

"Three years," Rollins candidly revealed (h/t H. Jenkins of Ringside News).

Rollins was further asked about his pay structure and if he gets more money for appearances at major events.

"It was all one deal and a yearly salary," he quickly explained.

Rollins originally signed a developmental deal with WWE in 2010 and has since become one of the greatest Superstars of his generation. His deal reportedly was set to expire in 2024 before he eventually signed a new multi-year contract.

Rollins also told Mohr that he has "another three months" of recovery from his shoulder injury. Fans will certainly be excited to see him return to the ring and get back to doing what he does best.

Multiple NXT Stars Reportedly Set for Main Roster Call-Ups

The most recent edition of Saturday Night's Main Event will be mostly remembered for John Cena's historic retirement from his legendary in-ring career, but a trio of NXT Superstars apparently stole the show.

Dave Meltzer reported on Wrestling Observer Radio that the audience reactions to the breakout performances of Sol Ruca, Joe Hendry and NXT Champion Oba Femi have many expecting that they will be fast-tracked to the main roster.

"Joe Hendry and Sol Ruca, they're all on the list," Meltzer confirmed (h/t Steve Carrier of Ringside News). "I don't know when Sol Ruca's coming, but number one, they put her over Bayley."

At the Dec. 13 edition of Saturday Night's Main Event, Sol Ruca earned a clean win over the veteran Bayley, Joe Hendry made a surprise appearance in a confrontation with The Miz, and Oba Femi fought Undisputed WWE Champion Cody Rhodes to a no-contest.

"I was told on the Sunday right after that show that all of those guys, when they got over… Oba Femi is too, even though he's the champion right now," Meltzer added. "They see Oba Femi as a major main eventer."

The way the live audience reacted to the trio of rising stars reportedly was the deciding factor that made it clear they're ready for a run on the main roster.

"The key was that when they got over to the 'real' audience, to the large audience that watched John Cena, it sped everything up," Meltzer said. "All those guys were going to be up anyway, but there's a perception that, 'Well, they're big in their little bowl.' But when you see them on the big bowl and they're really over, that changed a lot of opinions real fast."

NXT's Je'Von Evans has also begun making regular appearances on the main roster, and Trick Williams is expected to debut on this week's episode of SmackDown.

It appears that the future is now, and more NXT stars will be ready to make their mark in WWE very soon.

Changes to WWE's Commentary Teams Reportedly Coming in 2026

WWE is reportedly set to kick off the new year with some changes to its commentary teams.

According to PWInsider (h/t Steve Carrier of Ringside News), the team of Michael Cole and Corey Graves is set to return to Monday Night Raw starting with the Jan. 5 anniversary show on Netflix. Joe Tessitore and Wade Barrett will be moving over to SmackDown on Jan. 2.

The move restores the original commentary lineup that WWE had at the start of 2025. Tessitore and Barrett had moved over to Raw in September to accommodate Tessitore's college football commitments. He most recently was on the call for the Tulane vs. Ole Miss College Football Playoff game on TNT Sports this past weekend.

Cole and Graves have long been viewed as WWE's No. 1 commentary duo, so moving them over to Raw adds more prestige to the company's flagship show for the start of the year.

Tessitore and Barrett have also shown great chemistry together, so fans will be excited that their team is staying intact as they head over to the Blue Brand.
