This is How Brock Lesnar Becomes Important to WWE Again
Brock Lesnar is one of the few WWE Superstars who is believable as a world heavyweight champion, both from a physical stature standpoint and from a legitimate former UFC champion perspective.
Now, more than ever, WWE desperately needs The Beast Incarnate featured prominently on its programming.
Lesnar is a once-in-a-generation attraction with legitimate mixed martial arts experience, but a vocal portion of the WWE Universe has become disenfranchised by the Superstar's part-time appearances.

Why Triple H Can Turn Around WWE

AEW Can Take Advantage of WWE Cold Streak
To become a key for the company's success moving forward, The Beast must become more strategic, with a renewed focus on storylines and character development.
The problem for Lesnar now is that his appearances feel predictable. Once he returns to television, he has been thrown into random matches without much—if any—build to get fans invested. Just ask John Cena's return to Suplex City at Wrestlepalooza. The Beast will always draw interest, but WWE Creative is failing to maximize his appearances.
With rampant complaints about Lesnar holding world titles hostage with his part-time schedule, it's time for him to exit the championship scene and become an elite gatekeeper. With younger Superstars being booked in their first main event-level feud against him, The Beast should become a career-defining obstacle for performers such as Gunther and Oba Femi.
By using Lesnar to elevate WWE's next generation of Superstars, each of his appearances will become must-see again. He can still work his part-time schedule, but the narrative stakes will be higher than ever, with WWE emphasizing his legitimacy by letting him validate younger performers instead of chasing championships.
And for the first time in years, WWE finally has a new generation of performers ready to take Lesnar's place at the top of the heavyweight card.
From an eventual feud with Gunther that culminates with The Beast taking a decisive loss, to him putting over a rising babyface like Femi, who needs credibility, Triple H and the creative team can keep Lesnar away from familiar matches and rivalries, while also making each feud feel unique and decisive.
By keeping Lesnar out of the world title scene most of the time, sans a transitional reign or two when applicable, WWE can turn The Beast into a more cunning veteran who is less dependent on dominating his opponent and instead focuses on methodical attacks.
Add in the return of Paul Heyman as Lesnar's full-time mouthpiece, and the opportunities for personal blood feuds should help update his presentation.
Lesnar and The Undertaker had their epic battles, but The Beast should learn a lot from how often The Deadman adjusted his gimmick and changed his in-ring approach.
Continuing to book Lesnar as a special attraction who only appears occasionally is still the right move, as it makes each appearance feel like a newsworthy event. Each moment becomes more critical, and the fallout from every segment will be heavily discussed.
Preserving The Beast will create more depth in the main event scene, legitimize new stars, and help the WWE Universe regain its excitement for his appearances.
