10 WWE and AEW Superstars Who Aren't Getting Enough TV Time

Chris MuellerDec 4, 2025

Pro wrestling might be scripted in terms of how the matches end, but there is very real competition happening for the coveted TV time in major promotions.

Top stars such as CM Punk and Jon Moxley do not need to worry about a lack of time in front of cameras, but the men and women lower on the card have to fight for every second.

Right now, WWE and All Elite Wrestling employ well over 200 wrestlers. While it sometimes seems like we have a never-ending stream of wrestling content to watch from both companies, there is still a limited amount of TV time to go around.

This means there are dozens of Superstars across both promotions just waiting for the opportunity to prove themselves.

Let's take a look at some of the talents who deserve a little more time in front of the camera.

Lee Moriarty

1 of 7

It might seem strange to see a current ROH titleholder on this list, but if anyone deserves more TV time in AEW, it's Lee Moriarty.

The ROH pure champion, 31, is one of the best young talents in the company. He is lightyears ahead of many of his peers when it comes to technical ability, but it's never felt like he was given a fair shake outside of ROH.

Daniel Garcia and Wheeler Yuta are often lumped in with Moriarty as young talents with incredibly technical skills, so why he has yet to get the same kind of push they have had is a mystery.

If AEW plans to be around for a long time, it needs to do a better job building up some of its younger talent, and Moriarty should be at the top of that list.

The Creed Brothers

Sometimes you might hear the term "freak athlete" being thrown around. It refers to someone whose physical ability seems above the capabilities of a normal person.

In WWE, that term could be used to describe both Julius and Brutus Creed. They were a standout tag team in NXT producing show-stealing matches on a regular basis.

These days, finding the Creeds on a WWE broadcast is harder than finding Waldo on a crowded beach.

Having two incredibly talented wrestlers sitting around doing nothing is nothing short of throwing money away. The WWE tag team division needs a shot in the arm, and the Creeds can provide it if management just lets them do what they do best.

Nyla Rose

Here's a not-so-fun fact for you: The last time Nyla Rose had a match on TV was on a November 2024 episode of Rampage.

You remember Rampage, right? It's that hour-long show AEW used to air Friday nights.

Not having Rose appear at all in 2025 when she is perfectly healthy and working indie promotions regularly is the kind of oversight that needs redressing, especially for someone who was so important in helping to establish the division.

At this point, she is on pace to end 2025 without a single appearance on AEW TV. Let's hope 2026 is better for her.

Ivy Nile

Much like the Creed Brothers, Ivy Nile has only been making sporadic appearances for some time.

When it comes to uniqueness, the 33-year-old stands out. Her short stature combined with her incredible power and solid grappling ability should make her a valuable asset, but apparently WWE doesn't see it that way.

The last time she appeared on TV outside of the Main Event show most people don't even know still exists was at the Evolution PLE in July.

WWE keeps cycling the same handful of women in and out of the main event scene while failing to elevate new talent. Nile has everything she needs to be successful except someone in management pushing for her.

Private Party

Marq Quen and Isiah Kassidy have been with AEW just about as long as any tag team other than The Young Bucks, but their push has been more inconsistent than most.

They started 2025 as the AEW tag team champions, but after dropping the belts to The Hurt Syndicate in January, they have been MIA.

In fact, they have only wrestled one match since then, but it was for House of Glory Wrestling, not AEW.

Private Party should have some interest outside of AEW when their contracts come up, so if Tony Khan doesn't start booking them soon, he may find himself without one of his longest-standing tag teams.

The War Raiders

Erik and Ivar had a couple of appearances on television in September, but most of their 2025 has been spent on the sidelines.

They are another team that has appeared more on Main Event than any other show in recent months. There is no logical reason why this is happening.

Erik and Ivar are former champions who can put on a great match with anyone. They have a unique look and style, and the crowd always seems to have a great time when they perform.

The War Raiders could be a top team in WWE if management took them seriously, especially now they have dropped some of the Viking imagery and focused on being monsters instead of gimmicks.

Ace Austin

7 of 7

Ace Austin signed with AEW in August and seemed like a bright prospect who would get a push similar to what Kevin Knight has received, but he has only worked four matches for the company since then.

Pairing him up with The Bang Bang Gang, which has been snakebit by injuries over the years, was probably a bad sign right out of the gate.

Austin is only 28 years old and already has a reputation for being a talented worker with a fun personality. There is no reason why he shouldn't be getting more matches on television, even if he is putting others over.

The 10 names on this list all deserve more screen time in WWE and AEW, but they are not the only ones. Who do you wish would get booked more often?
