On Tuesday, Nike released a video on social media teasing the release of Booker's next signature shoe:

Nike first announced plans for Booker's shoe line in September 2023, with the Nike Book 1 dropping the following year.

"Early on, we landed on the phrase 'future classic,'" Booker said at the time. "At the beginning of the design process, we landed on the idea of the shoe combining lifestyle and performance worlds. The goal was to create something that would be timeless."

The Nike Book 1 had one of the lengthiest rollouts ever, with new colorways dropping as recently as this week. The Book 1 95 'Solar Red' Wolf Grey and Photon Dust dropped on Tuesday as an homage to Booker's dad, Melvin, whose favorite Air Max 95 shoe was a Solar Red design.

Booker is off to a strong start this season, leading the Suns to an 8-6 record while averaging team-highs of 28.4 points and 7.0 assists. The 29-year-old has had to shoulder most of the offensive load in the absence of sharpshooting guard Jalen Green, who has missed most of the year with a hamstring injury.

It remains to be seen what the official release date of the Nike Book 2 will be, but for now, Booker will focus on trying to help the Suns get past the Portland Trail Blazers (6-7) on Tuesday night.
