WWE SummerSlam 2015: What's Next for Seth Rollins After Battleground Victory?
It's normally quite easy to map out a road for the WWE world heavyweight champion heading into a major pay-per-view, but that's not quite the case for Seth Rollins at SummerSlam.
Given how his opponent at Battleground has been tossed into a rivalry elsewhere, it effectively leaves the champion searching around for something big to do on one of the biggest cards of the year.
Speculation abounds concerning potential opponents and potential storylines, but where does Rollins realistically go from here?

Takeaways From SNME 44 ➡️
Judging by the actions of Raw this past week (and nothing else), it looked like one potential option would be a fight with John Cena.
That inevitably worries a few fans, given how Cena is still the United States champion, and his presence in the main event would naturally water down the middle of the card.
Their confrontation on Raw, with no input or direction from The Authority, seemed to hint at something happening between the two in the coming weeks, but with Cena still in possession of another title, that would hopefully suggest that their respective futures lie elsewhere at SummerSlam.
The trouble is, with The Undertaker's abrupt interruption at Battleground, Rollins' potential match at SummerSlam is shrouded in confusion.
It seemed as if Rollins could end up feuding with The Authority, or more specifically Triple H, at SummerSlam, but that would not really feel like a wise move at the moment.
It would involve turning one of those men babyface, and given how Triple H is ruling WWE with an iron fist at the moment and Rollins is the most popular heel the company has, it makes little sense for WWE to go down that path.
Despite simmering tensions between the COO and the champion, this isn't the right time for their paths to cross again. So where does that leave us?
Where it should leave us is with a return to one of the hottest feuds WWE has had in recent years, pitting its two most popular Superstars against each other in one of the biggest settings of the entire year: Seth Rollins vs. Dean Ambrose.
It's interesting that Ambrose looks to be heading into the Bray Wyatt, Luke Harper and Roman Reigns rivalry that's ongoing at the moment, but WrestleZone's Nick Paglino claimed that the fourth man in that feud may not be Ambrose: "WWE has been discussing a variety of match plans for SummerSlam, including Sting and Roman Reigns vs. Bray Wyatt and Luke Harper."
Paglino also wrote that the match could become a six-man tag match with Ambrose and another member joining The Wyatt Family, but that would be a mistake.
It would be better to leave Sting to help give Reigns a push and throw Ambrose back into the fire with Rollins. He certainly didn't look out of his depth when he was feuding with Rollins for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship a few months ago, and he only dropped out of the title picture due to Brock Lesnar's return.
So with Lesnar now fighting The Undertaker at SummerSlam, it creates a window for Ambrose and Rollins to go at it again. Ambrose's unpredictability and the tension from their split in The Shield gives enough storyline depth to make it work, and if The Authority left Rollins to go it alone and be terrorised by Ambrose, it would give Rollins a new edge, too.
You can go back almost a year to track the history of their competing against each other, and it's a rivalry for which fans certainly have a lot of love.
Whether Ambrose wins the title or not is a big question, one that won't be answered until the rivalry picks up again, but out of all the options Seth Rollins has for SummerSlam, The Lunatic Fringe is the biggest and most attractive of the bunch.
