Oregon Reveal New Uniforms Inspired by 'Grateful Dead' in Video, Photos vs. Wisconsin
Saturday's game against Wisconsin will be a must-win for Oregon if it wants to keep its Big Ten championship and College Football Playoff hopes alive.
As is often the case with the Ducks, they are going to look good on the field regardless of the outcome.
Oregon revealed its uniform of choice for the upcoming contest against the Badgers, and it is inspired by the Grateful Dead:

The uniform features green and yellow tie-dye numbers on a black jersey. The tie-dye format is also present on the helmet's "O" logo.
What's more, the inside collars and bumper of the helmets have the Grateful Dead's iconic "dancing bears" across them.
Rob Moseley of Oregon's official website noted the Ducks are planning a "tie-dye out" of Autzen Stadium for the contest after announcing in July the game would celebrate the relationship between the city of Eugene and the band.
The Grateful Dead played Autzen Stadium 10 times between 1974 and 1994.
As for the game itself, the Ducks should roll to a victory. Wisconsin has lost five straight and is coming off 37-0 and 34-0 shutout defeats against Iowa and Ohio State. The offense has been completely lost of late, and the biggest question surrounding the program is how long Luke Fickell will remain as the head coach.
Oregon is in a much different situation with a 6-1 overall record and 3-1 mark in the Big Ten.
All of its goals are still in front of it, but it can ill-afford another conference loss after dropping a home game against Indiana. The Buckeyes and Hoosiers are undefeated in the league, while a number of teams are bunched with one loss.
A second defeat, especially against a foe as overmatched as Wisconsin should be, would all but eliminate the Ducks from the Big Ten race.
