Green Comments on Recovery, Potential Return
Thursday, Dec. 22
"I'm not the type of guy to try to just shut it down, just to bail on my team because we're not having the season we wanted to have," Green told reporters. "That's like a cowardly move to me. If I'm healthy, I'm going to play. And I feel like I'm healthy."
Green Comments on Recovery
Wednesday, Dec. 14
Green discussed his progress, per Jim Owczarski of the Cincinnati Enquirer:
"It's getting better, man. We've got great trainers. I've worked my butt off to get where I need to be. I'm not going to be 100 percent whenever I come back, and I know; I'm satisfied with that.
The biggest thing for me is to get my confidence back and go out there, and I know can protect myself, and I know I can be effective.

Green Has Avoided Major Injuries Throughout Career
Although Green has suffered various bumps and bruises since entering the league in 2011, he had missed just four regular-season games in his career before 2016.
Thanks in part to that clean bill of health, the five-time Pro Bowl wideout has topped 1,000 receiving yards every year since entering the league, making him one of two players—along with Calvin Johnson—to sustain those numbers during that span.
Green hauled in 86 passes for 1,297 yards and 10 touchdowns during the 2015 season. It marked the third time he recorded double-digit scores.
For the season, he posted 66 catches for 964 yards and four touchdowns.
