Simone Biles Won't Rule Out Competing in 2028 Olympics, Will Attend in 'Some Capacity'
Simone Biles is keeping the door open to possibly competing at the 2028 Summer Olympics in Los Angeles.
During a recent event in Buenos Aires (starts at 1:45 mark), Biles said she's still "not sure what 2028 looks like" for her before adding she will be in Los Angeles "in some capacity."
"I just don't know right now if it's on the floor or in the stands," Biles said. "But I definitely want to go and be a part of that movement."

Within the conversation, Biles also said she is not currently training in order to give herself a mental break.
Biles has dropped some hints that she wouldn't be taking part in the 2028 Games without ever specifically saying she was retiring from competition.
The 11-time Olympic medalist told French news outlet L'Equipe (h/t BBC.com) that she has already "accomplished so much in my sport" and "would really need to be excited" to return for a fourth run at the Games.
Biles is already the most decorated U.S. women's gymnast of all-time with 11 medals, including seven golds. She is tied with Czechoslovakia's Věra Čáslavská for the second-most Olympic medals by a female gymnast in history.
By the time the 2028 Olympics begins, Biles will be 31 years old. Her inclusion on the 2024 U.S. team made her the oldest member of the Olympic squad since 1952.
There was nothing to indicate Biles was slowing down. She medaled in four events, winning gold in the all-around, vault and team competitions.
The 2028 Olympics will mark the first time the Summer Games have been held in the United States since 1996 when Atlanta served as host.
