NFL Exec Clowns Scouts Hyping 2026 NFL Draft QB Prospects in Offseason, 'What a Crock'
At least one NFL evaluator isn't impressed with the quarterback options ahead of the 2026 NFL draft.
"Remember last year around draft time when everybody was saying how many good quarterbacks would be coming out next year?" an evaluator from an NFL team told Mike Sando of The Athletic. "What a crock."
The shine coming off Texas' Arch Manning is surely a major part of that assessment, but players like LSU's Garrett Nussmeier, Penn State's Drew Allar and Clemson's Cade Klubnik haven't helped their cause much either.
Others like Oregon's Dante Moore and Indiana's Fernando Mendoza have climbed up the ranks—and Carson Beck's transfer to Miami is helping to repair his draft stock as well—but what was once seen as a pretty loaded group now has a lot of question marks.
There is plenty of college season left for other players to emerge or improve their standing in the eyes of NFL scouts and evaluators. For now, however, it sounds like the 2026 draft class may not be shaping up as a strong one at the quarterback position.
