NBA Summer League 2015: Updated Las Vegas Schedule, Standings and Top Stats
Competition is heating up at the NBA's Las Vegas Summer League with just three days of play remaining.
Sixteen out of the 24 teams have already finished their slate, but eight teams are still vying for the third annual Vegas Summer League championship. Only one of those eight squads will wade through the three final rounds to emerge victoriously.
While the team aspect of Summer League can be interesting, it'll also be fun to see which players set themselves apart. There will be highly touted rookies flexing their muscles for the teams that drafted them, D-League veterans trying to prove their worth and undrafted players seeking to earn a training-camp invite.
Let's look at the schedule for the rest of the Vegas Summer League, how each team stacks up so far, the league's statistical leaders and some impressive numbers from players on still-alive teams.

Key Stats
Twelve: Shots contested by the Phoenix Suns' Alex Len Thursday against the Milwaukee Bucks, the most by any player through the first two rounds of the tournament
Two summers ago, Alex Len was getting buzz as a dark-horse candidate for the No. 1 pick in the 2013 draft.
The Maryland center ended up being selected by the Suns with the fifth pick, and he's toiled away in relative obscurity for the last couple of seasons. He hasn't been bad, per se, but he hasn't lived up to expectations quite yet, with career averages of 4.7 points and 5.0 rebounds per game.
However, Len has proven to be a man among boys at this year's Vegas Summer League.
Averages of 12.3 points, 10.3 rebounds in just 24.6 minutes per game are extremely encouraging. And when you couple that with his 2.7 blocks and the hustle stat above, you know he's playing well on both sides of the court.
New Suns center Tyson Chandler should be a great mentor (and career model) for Len
Thirty-seven: Free throws attempted by Kyle Anderson through four games
Better get ready, Kyle Anderson, because the title-contending Spurs are going to need you.
Key bench contributor Marco Belinelli has left San Antonio and Manu Ginobili is on his last legs, which means backup wing minutes should be plentiful for Anderson. The No. 30 overall draft pick in 2014 bounced back and forth between Austin and San Antonio during his rookie season, but he should be staying with Spurs' top team full-time in 2015-16.
This year's Vegas Summer League has shown Anderson is ready for serious playing time.
The former UCLA standout is not known for his explosiveness, hence the nickname "Slow Mo," but he has a knack for getting to the foul line. It's an aspect of his game he's been focusing on, according to Project Spurs' Paul Garcia.
Anderson has averaged an impressive 22.3 points in just 26.8 minutes per game in Vegas, both team highs. Playing with veterans Patty Mills, Ginobili, Boris Diaw and David West on the Spurs' bench come training camp should be a great environment to continue cultivating his skills.
Three-and-a-half: Blocks per game by the Atlanta Hawks' Walter Tavares
Like Len and Anderson, Walter Tavares is basically guaranteed NBA minutes this year, which can't be said about the majority of Vegas Summer League players.
A 2014 second-round pick by the Hawks, Tavares is 7'3" and 260 pounds with a 7'9" wingspan, per NBADraft.net, plus he's mobile and protects the rim. If that doesn't scream "rotation player," I don't know what does.
Now, expecting huge minutes from the center with Atlanta in 2015-16 might be too much to ask. He'll be a rookie and has raw skills on both ends of the court.
In addition to a Vegas Summer League-leading 3.5 blocks in just 21.5 minutes per game, Tavares has scored 8.0 points and 7.0 rebounds per contest.
All statistics and measurements are from NBA.com and RealGM.com and updated through July 18 unless otherwise indicated.
