AJ Lee Return Coming Soon, WWE Needs The Usos to Save Tag Division, More Raw Fallout
Just a day removed from an action-packed Clash in Paris, the Paris La Défense Arena again hosted WWE Raw talent on Monday, delivering major fallout.
CM Punk hoped to get some revenge on Seth Rollins, but he was mocked by the X-factor of Clash in Paris, Becky Lynch, instead.
This time, though, The Best in the World confidently declared The Man would regret inserting herself in his business.
Bronson Reed and Bron Breakker continued to destroy and dominate, taking down LA Knight and Jey Uso in tag team action. Afterward, Jimmy Uso came out to save his brother.
AJ Styles had Dominik Mysterio on the ropes in their Intercontinental Championship bout, but El Grande Americano again got involved to cost The Phenomenal One.
Raw general manager Adam Pearce announce a huge match for Wrestlepalooza on Sept. 20: Stephanie Vaquer vs. Iyo Sky for the vacant Women's World Championship.
This was a wild night for a hot French crowd after a huge premium live event, leaving as many new questions as answers.
Time for the Return of AJ Lee
1 of 4
While WWE has not fully confirmed AJ Lee's return, all signs point to the return of the longest reigning Divas champion of all time.
Few returns to WWE have been quite as anticipated as AJ. Once the top character in the entire company, The Black Widow has been a forgotten footnote in WWE folklore for too long.
With a return to the ring, she could not only reclaim her legacy but also redefine it through working with women she inspired.
Roxanne Perez is the most obvious example, but the likely first opponent for her return, Becky Lynch, also has plenty to thank CM Punk's wife for in her own rise to the top.
It is hard to say what Lee can still do in the ring or on the mic in 2025, but it will be an incredible moment to see her in WWE again if it does happen.
Stephanie Vaquer and Iyo Sky Need More Spotlight Ahead of Title Match

After two weeks of speculation, the stage is set for the next women's world champion. Stephanie Vaquer vs. Iyo Sky is a massive match for Wrestlepalooza.
While the two have faced off before, their previous matches have been interrupted, leaving them in need of a definitive result.
That should happen at Wrestlepalooza, assuming The Judgment Day do not try to interrupt the action.
In the meantime, as good as both women are, it's time to sell them as the best in the business right now.
Vaquer needs to defeat top names in the coming weeks, while The Genius of the Sky should be on TV either wrestling or talking in the ring each week.
This should feel like the biggest women's match WWE can deliver in 2025, hoping to eclipse Sky vs. Rhea Ripley at Evolution.
Otherwise, the winner will still struggle to come off as a legitimate world champion in 2025, especially with Becky Lynch taking up so much time on TV as women's intercontinental champion.
Right Time, Wrong Result for Dominik Mysterio vs. AJ Styles
3 of 4
AJ Styles in France continues to deliver a special atmosphere that rivals even the biggest stars in the business, yet it feels like WWE isn't hearing it.
After keeping The Phenomenal One off Clash in Paris, he lost in his second straight challenge to Dominik Mysterio.
This was the time to give Styles his due. Even if Mysterio is the real focus for WWE in the long term, he is already in a great position, including possibly dethroning El Hijo del Vikingo at Worlds Collide: Las Vegas.
Styles winning in front of this crowd would have delivered a special moment while also setting the stage for Dirty Dom to move right along to another big title.
Meanwhile, it would have set the stage perfectly for Styles vs. John Cena one last time since The GOAT has never won the Intercontinental Championship.
Cena could go for the Grand Slam while also facing one of the best rivals of his career.
With this loss, Styles will fall into the background again, left to feud with El Grande Americano.
The Usos vs. Bron Breakker and Bronson Reed Is the Answer to Raw's Tag Team Woes
4 of 4
Many fans may not even know who holds the World Tag Team Championships on Raw.
The answer is The Judgment Day, but even Finn Bálor seems more focused on Dominik Mysterio's Intercontinental Championship than his own gold held with JD McDonagh.
WWE has moved beyond the need for The Judgment Day to carry an entire division. When The War Raiders dethroned them in December 2024, it felt like time to move on.
Instead, the story moved back around to The Judgment Day with little to show for the time between.
The best answer to this issue is giving the World Tag Team Championships to WWE's best established team, Bron Breakker and Bronson Reed.
While they have not won consistently, the Brons have made an impact repeatedly at the expense of top names such as Roman Reigns and CM Punk.
Giving the gold to Seth Rollins' heavies would also set the stage for the biggest possible tag team match Raw can deliver: Breakker and Reed vs. The Usos.
Jimmy Uso is backing up Jey Uso once again, bringing back together WWE's most acclaimed modern tag team.
Breakker and Reed vs. The Usos for the World Tag Team Championships feels big enough to even play a key role at WrestleMania 42.
No matter how long the feud goes, though, this is a story the tag division needs and must include the tag titles.
