Signed LLWS Bat Sells for $10K at Auction After Player Suspended for Celebration
The bat flipped by a 12-year-old Little League player Marco Rocco in a home run celebration that turned into a high-profile court case sold on Friday night at Goldin Auctions for $9,882.
All proceeds from the sale will benefit Marco's team, the Haddonfield Little League, according to Goldin.
Marco earned national attention when he was ejected from a July 16 Little League game for celebrating a two-run home run by flipping his bat.

The ejection came with a one-game suspension that prohibited Marco from playing in the first game of the New Jersey Little League State Tournament final against Elmora Youth Little League later that week.
After Marco's father Joe Rocco filed in Gloucester County seeking an emergency temporary restraining order, a judge overruled the Little League's ability to suspend him hours before the opening game started.
The Little League said in a statement that it would respect the judge's ruling but was "extremely disappointed" by the decision.
Joe Rocco commemorated the incident with 75 custom pins that featuring the bat flip that were traded during the 2025 Little League Baseball World Series.
Goldin founder Ken Goldin then announced the sale of the bat in an Aug. 19 video featuring Marco.
The bat on sale featured both Marco's signature and the inscription "The Bat Flip HR 7/16/25." The sale received 68 bids, including a winning bid of $8,100 before buyer's premium.
