
PGA Tour Reveals 2026 Schedule, Dates for Masters, U.S. Open, British Open, More
The 2026 PGA Tour schedule has been unveiled, including dates for all four major tournaments.
Next year's season will begin with The Sentry tournament in the first week of January and conclude with the Tour Championship at the end of August.
Here is the schedule for the four major tournaments:
- The Masters Tournament: April 6-12
- PGA Championship: May 11-17
- U.S. Open: June 15-21
- The Open Championship: July 13-19
The PGA Championship will be held at Aronimink Golf Club in Newtown Square, Pennsylvania. It will be the course's first time hosting the event since 1962.
Shinnecock Hills will host the U.S. Open for the first time since 2018 and the sixth time overall. The Open Championship will take place at Royal Birkdale for the 11th time since 1954.
Other highlights from the schedule release include the Arnold Palmer Invitational and Players Championship in consecutive weeks at the beginning of March.
The 2026 season will wrap up with the Tour Championship from East Lake Golf Club in Atlanta. It will also mark the 20th season of the FedEx Cup playoffs, with the winner guaranteed an $18 million payout.
Tuesday's announcement of the 2026 schedule comes in the lead up to the 2025 Tour Championship that will start on Thursday.
Scottie Scheffler (7,456 points), the defending champion at the event, has more than twice as many points as the No. 2 player in the FedEx Cup standings (Rory McIlroy: 3,687).
The 29-year-old has five wins on tour this season, including the PGA Championship and Open Championship. He erased a four-shot deficit in the span of five holes in the final round of the BMW Championship on Sunday to secure his fifth victory of 2025.
