The world's No. 1 male golfer remained on top of the FedEx Cup standings for yet another week, but there was plenty of change beneath him.

Robert MacIntyre, who finished second to Scheffler at BMW Championship, jumped 11 spots inside the top 30. A handful of other golfers made big leaps as well ahead of next week's Tour Championship.

Scheffler's win gave him 2,000 more FedEx Cup points to give him close to a 4,000-point lead over Rory McIlroy going into the Tour Championship.

Scheffler started Sunday's final round four shots back of MacIntyre, but he managed to flip that deficit in his favor fairly quickly.

The No. 1 golfer in the world shot two-under on the front nine, while MacIntyre gave three shots back in the first five holes.

MacIntyre only recorded one birdie in his three-over round. That allowed Scheffler to be ahead for most of the back nine and to clinch the victory with the incredible chip-in on the 17th hole.

Maverick McNealy, Tommy Fleetwood and Sam Burns rounded out the top five. All of those golfers jumped at least three spots in the FedEx Cup standings.

Harry Hall, who finished sixth, made the largest leap of the week, as he went from 45th to 26th in the FedEx Cup standings.

Hall's strong week at Caves Valley allowed him to play another week at the Tour Championship.

Rickie Fowler and Matt Fitzpatrick were among the notable golfers that missed out on the top-30 cut.

Fowler was inside the cut line for parts of Sunday's round, but he fell apart on the back nine and came up two spots shy of the top 30.

The top 30 golfers in the FedEx Cup standings now had to East Lake Golf Course, where the FedEx Cup winner will be determined over four days at the Tour Championship.
