FedEx Cup Standings 2025, Points Leaderboard Before BMW Championship
Scottie Scheffler comes into the BMW Championship with a 2,000-point lead in the FedEx Cup standings.
No one in the 50-golfer field can leapfrog Scheffler in the standings prior to next week's Tour Championship.
However, plenty of movement will happen in the 49 positions beneath Scheffler, especially around the cut to make next week's playoff finale.
The top 30 golfers in the FedEx Cup standings advance to the Tour Championship. Twenty golfers will be eliminated after the BMW Championship.

Scheffler has been the golfer to beat in the FedEx Cup for quite some time.
The No. 1 golfer in the world used a tie for third at the FedEx St. Jude Championship to open up a 2,000-point lead over Rory McIlroy, who opted not to play last week in Memphis.
Last week's winner and runner-up, Justin Rose and J.J. Spaun, are the only other two golfers within 2,500 points of Scheffler.
The winner of a playoff event receives 2,000 FedEx Cup points, so even if Scheffler has an awful week in Maryland, his lead is safe entering the Tour Championship.
The real competition at the BMW Championship will be at the bottom of the FedEx Cup standings.
Less than 300 points separate Lucas Glover in 30th place and J.T. Poston in 50th place.
Matt Fitzpatrick, Jason Day and Xander Schauffele are among the golfers in between Glover and Poston entering the week.
A top-10 finish is the minimum goal for any of the golfers below the playoff cut line. Three-hundred points gets awarded to the 10th-place finisher.
A week ago, five golfers moved into the top 50 after starting the week outside that playoff cut line. A similar number of Tour Championship spots are expected to change hands in Maryland because of how tight the points gap is from 30th to 50th.
