Preview
Scottie Scheffler is the clear favorite to win the FedEx Cup because of the massive gap he created during the regular season.
Only Rory McIlroy can win in Memphis and potentially overtake Scheffler at the top of the FedEx Cup standings.
Most of the drama will come around the bubble to get to next week's BMW Championship.
Min Woo Lee enters the week in 50th place with 851 points. J.T. Poston is only two points off in 51st and two others are within 20 points of Lee.
Tony Finau and Rickie Fowler are among the golfers in the final 20 places going into Memphis.
A few position typically change hands around the bubble each year at the FedEx St. Jude Championship. Kurt Kitayama, who won two weeks ago at the 3M Open, is one of the golfers below the bubble worth watching this week.
The golfers further up the standings will try to solidify their positions inside the top 30. The field gets cut by another 20 positions from the BMW Championship to the Tour Championship.
The top 30 golfers in the FedEx Cup standings will play in the Tour Championship. Even getting to Eastlake is huge for golfers because 30th place in the FedEx Cup standings takes home an extra $195,000. The winner brings home $10 million.
