Scott PolacekAug 5, 2025

Tuesday was a day of win-or-go-home pressure at the 2025 Little League Softball World Series in Greenville, North Carolina.

The third day of competition featured four elimination games with every team taking the field having one previous loss in the double-elimination tournament.

With that as the backdrop, here is a look at the latest scores as teams attempt to navigate the bracket that started out with 12 teams ahead of Sunday's championship game.

2025 LLSWS Scores

  • Northwest def. West, 10-0
  • Latin-America def. Canada, 10-1
  • Central def. Europe-Africa, 4-0
  • Southeast def. New England, 9-0

Northwest def. West, 10-0

While the team representing Washington started off its Little League World Series with a disappointing 9-2 loss, it bounced back in a major way Tuesday with a commanding 10-0 victory over the team from California.

California went scoreless for the second straight game and saw its championship hopes come to a close.

Washington's Penelope Gahan set the tone on the mound with a brilliant performance. She was perfect through the first four innings and ended up allowing just a single hit with three strikeouts in 4.2 innings of work.

She didn't need much run support, but Washington wasted little time providing it with an RBI double from Liliana Delgado and a two-RBI single from Camryn Brown in the first inning.

Brown also helped break things open with a two-run single in the third inning as Washington extended what proved to be an insurmountable lead.

Fittingly, Brown continued her excellent game on the mound and pitched 1.1 scoreless innings in relief after Gahan exited.

Latin-America def. Canada, 10-1

The championship hopes are still alive for the team representing Brazil thanks to a dominant 10-1 victory over the team representing Canada.

It was quite the bounce-back effort after Brazil lost by just a single run in its opener against North Carolina. As for Canada, its Little League Softball World Series came to an end after it also lost to the Asia-Pacific regional representative.

Canada's lone run came in the first inning, but even that didn't give it an early lead since Brazil pushed across two in the top of the first thanks in large part to a handful of walks.

Once Brazil pitcher Dani Fugisaki settled into the game, she became nearly unhittable. But she didn't just star on the mound, as she also cleared the bases with a three-run triple in the sixth inning to completely break the game open.

It was a brilliant individual performance and kept her team alive in the tournament.

Central def. Europe-Africa, 4-0

The team representing Indiana is in the win column after an opening loss to North Carolina thanks to a 4-0 victory over the team representing Czechia.

Czechia was unable to win a game in the Little League Softball World Series and was in Tuesday's elimination contest thanks to an earlier loss to Canada.

Pitching led the way for Indiana, as starter Briley Mercer was a strikeout machine at the beginning of the game before Grace Fiore put the final touches on the win with three shutout innings down the stretch.

Fiore also made an impact on offense when she scored during the victors' three-run fourth inning that gave Indiana some breathing room. Kennedy Nickels drove her home and then scored on a single from Scarlett Renn.

It was all the run support the pitchers needed, and Indiana will look to continue that momentum when it faces Brazil in the next round.

Southeast def. New England, 9-0

Lake Mary, the team representing the Southeast, put together a dominant performance in all facets of the game on Tuesday.

On the mound, Sam Bradley and Cayden Hugh combined for a shutout, with Bradley giving up just one hit and picking up four strikeouts in three innings and Hugh notching eight strikeouts with just two hits in three innings.

Lake Mary's offense had an outstanding day at the plate, and Rachel Lester stood out the most. She went 2-for-3, scoring a pair of runs and driving in two RBI. Layla Holton also went 2-for-3 with a run and an RBI.

After Tuesday's win, Lake Mary will now take on the Northwest region on Wednesday.
