Tyson Fury Predicts Jake Paul Will Knock Out Anthony Joshua amid Fight Rumors
Former heavyweight champion Tyson Fury revealed his choice in a potential fight between Jake Paul and Anthony Joshua.
"I think Jake Paul knocks him out," Fury said in an interview with Ring Magazine.
“I just think Jake Paul would knock AJ out," he added. "I think AJ is a spent force, and I think Jake Paul is on the rise. I like his new heavyweight look. Bit chubby, bit bulky. Getting there, getting there."
Paul teased a possible boxing match with Joshua during Oleksandr Usyk's victory over Daniel Dubois on Saturday.
"It's not even about it being realistic or not," Paul said. "Like, it's gonna happen. So fasten your seatbelts or whatever. And when I knock them out, I go down in the history books forever."
Paul owns a 12-1 record with seven knockouts in his boxing career, recently defeating Julio César Chávez Jr. via unanimous decision in June.
While he's off to an impressive start, Joshua would be the most formidable opponent that he's faced so far. The former two-time unified WBO, IBF, and WBA heavyweight champion owns a 28-4 record with 25 knockouts.
While Joshua's last fight was a defeat against Dubois in September 2024, he won each of his prior four fights and has only been knocked out twice in his career.
Still, Fury is backing Paul.
