Michael Mizrachi Wins WSOP 2025 Main Event Final Table, $10M Prize Money Payout
Michael Mizrachi left the final table at the World Series of Poker main event as a champion.
Mizrachi won the final table at the main event at the World Series of Poker on Wednesday, taking home a $10 million payout with him. His win came behind a flush against John Wasnock's two pair.
Mizrachi and Wasnock joined Kenny Hallaert, Braxton Dunaway, Leo Margets, Daehyung Lee, Luka Bojovic, Adam Hendrix and Jarod Minghini at the final table on Wednesday.
Hallaert, whose previous best finish at the main event came in 2016 when he placed sixth, was eliminated on the first hand to place fourth. Still, he walked away from the final table with $3 million.
Dunaway joined Hallaert shortly after, losing on the second hand after Mizrachi played a flush to send him to the rail. Dunaway left the final table with $4 million as the third-place finisher.
The win for Mizrachi came on the second hand when he beat Wasnock with a flush after going all-in. Wasnock won $6 million for finishing in second place.
Heading into the event, Mizrachi was confident that he had made a strong enough case to make into the Poker Hall of Fame, but felt a win would seal the deal.
“It makes me work harder if I’m not in,” Mizrachi said, per the Las Vegas Review-Journal's David Schoen. “I’m assuming next year I’ll be in the hall of fame. After the (Poker Players Championship) win, there was a really good chance I was getting in. But after this, it’s probably 100 percent.”
Time will tell whether Mizrachi has done enough to make it into the Hall of Fame, but his resume speaks for itself.
Wednesday marked his second appearance at the WSOP main event final table, his eighth overall bracelet and he now has more than $29 million in career earnings.
