Toni Storm Shocks Mercedes Mone to Retain AEW Women's World Title at All In 2025
Toni Storm handed TBS champion Mercedes Moné the first singles loss of her AEW career and successfully defended the AEW Women's World Championship at All In on Saturday.
Ever since arriving in AEW last year, Mercedes has been a dominant force. She beat Willow Nightingale for the TBS Championship in her first AEW match, and she remained undefeated in singles matches leading up to All In.

When Moné was announced as an entrant in the 2025 Women's Owen Hart Foundation Tournament, it led to a great deal of speculation regarding whether she might finally suffer her first loss.
However, The CEO ran through a who's who of current and former champions in the tourney, beating Julia Hart, Athena and Jamie Hayter to earn an AEW Women's World Championship match against Storm at All In.
While Mercedes has been the most dominant woman in AEW over the past year, there is a legitimate argument to be made for Storm being more popular and successful overall.
At All In last year, Storm dropped the AEW women's title to former friend Mariah May, prompting her to undergo a character transformation.
She eventually went back to her "Timeless" persona and won the title back from May at Grand Slam Australia in February, though, and she won a rematch against May in what was May's final AEW match at Revolution in March.
Storm's character has allowed her to remain the most beloved wrestler in the AEW women's division, and arguably in AEW as a whole.
While Mercedes is popular in her own right and has a dedicated legion of fans, she was clearly the heel at All In, and there was seemingly plenty of support among the fans in attendance at All In for her undefeated streak to come to an end.
With the crowd behind her, Storm did what no one before her was able to accomplish, as she got the better of Mercedes and continued her fourth reign as AEW women's world champ.
