Projecting Every NFL Team's Starting Lineup 🔮

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
“The first road game is always important to us because it sets the tempo. A lot of our guys haven’t been on a plane. Since we only have four guys that are outside the state of Texas, this will be an opportunity for people and our players to go to a state they’ve never been to; same for me. It’s a fun trip for us. It’s an exciting trip for us. I know they’ll be excited. I’ve heard them say that it’s the biggest game to ever be played in the state of Wyoming; a game they’ll be excited about.”
On the altitude:
. A lot of people have asked about our concerns this week. We’re lucky that Bobby Kennedy coached there. He can talk to us about the surroundings and what it brought to them. We’re also fortunate that Jeff Madden, our strength and conditioning trainer, and Kenny Boyd, our medical trainer, both worked at Colorado. They’ve both worked with Olympic athletes, and they feel like the hydration that you need going into an area like this is something that they’re familiar with enough that they have talked to the players about it and they will be working with them throughout the week, but we need some of that adversity. We need some of those distractions, and that’s something that should help us this week.
On redshirts in College Football:
You’re seeing more juniors go out, and I think with looking at the possibility of the salary cap changing in the NFL, looking at the fact that the economy is struggling so much and some parents are needing money more quickly than before, and that the players just have an urgency for the NFL, I think that more people are going to play more guys as freshmen, because they’re not sure if they will have them their third or fourth year.
On dealing with sickness in the locker room:
It scares us to death. We talked about it after practice yesterday with the players. I saw it pop up this morning that Ole Miss had like 12 or 13 on their team. This time of the year when the weather is changing and the allergies are so tough anyway, a lot of our guys that have a touch of asthma or something have more trouble breathing to start with and then they get flu symptoms and they get a fever.
